A CHILD'S cries filled the obsidian palace, disturbing the peaceful silence of sleep

Virgil, god of Springtime, reluctantly left the warmth of his bed and went into his daughters room

¥Virgil¥
Makaria, Papa's here. Shh, you're ok

Makaria didn't stop crying, Virgil tried every other way he could think of to calm his daughter

Then Roman, Lord of the Underworld and Virgil's husband, came into the room seeing Virgil and his daughter crying

{Roman}
Mi Angel, what's keeping her up?

¥Virgil¥
I don't know Roman, maybe she just wanted to see us?

{Roman}
That's possible Mi Lirio. Can I take her?

Virgil nods and gives his daughter to his husband. Roman kissed Makaria's tiny forehead and gently rocked her back and forth, running his hands through the beginning of her chestnut hair inherited from him

Makaria stopped crying after being held by Roman. Her purple and green eyes, inherited from Virgil, started to droop tiredly. Eventually she was asleep in her Father's arms

Virgil took Makaria from Romans arms and held her. Roman hugged his husband from behind, the couple smiling as they held their daughter

Virgil put Makaria back into her black crib, tucking her into a White Rose patterned blanket. Makaria latched onto a stuffed version of Cerberus in her sleep

The couple left their daughter and went back to their own room. They got under their own covers, Virgil being gently pulled closer to Roman

Virgil turned around and buried his face in Romans chest, breathing in the smell of roses from his garden. Roman could be found there after a long day of soul decision, sniffing the dewy scent of the roses surrounding the Pomegranate tree in the middle

In turn, Roman sniffed lavender from Virgil's hair. The Springtime God was notorious for sticking flowers in his vibrant purple hair, this morning was a beautiful lavender

Virgil and Roman were now fast asleep, just like their daughter Makaria
