The war is raging harder than before

Roman is a commanding general, serving under Logan, head of their army

He is married to Virgil, the medic and head doctor. Virgil also has a small psychiatric degree but his friend Emile handles most of the therapy. Virgil specializes in Anxiety issues while Emile does the rest of the therapeutic work

Blood was spilling faster, Virgil was worried about his friends and Roman getting killed by the amount of people dropping like flies

Virgil was wrapping up bandages around a wounded soldier when he heard a horn sound

He said to the patient that he'll be right back to finish treating him and stepped outside his tent

He could see a white flag hanging from their enemies post, surrendering their position

Virgil yelled out for his husband, hoping that he's alive

¥Virgil¥
ROMAN!!!

It echoed the battlefield for a few seconds

¥Virgil¥
ROMAN!!!

Patton, the armies spy and secretary, went over to Virgil and asking how he's doing

(Patton)
Hey kiddo! I heard you yelling for Roman, do you want me to send a message for him to come over to you?

¥Virgil¥
Yeah, thank you Dad, I'm hoping that he's alive

(Patton)
Me too, I'm hoping Janus is ok

Patton was talking about his fiancé, Janus was Roman's second in command. He quickly wrote a letter for Logan, Patton gave a goodbye to Virgil and set off to find the head of their army

Meanwhile across from the medical tent, Logan and Roman were embracing the fact that their enemies surrendered

Patton found Logan and gave him the letter

{Roman}
Hey Padre, where's My Darling? Please don't say he's dead

(Patton)
Virgil is waiting at his tent, he called out for you but I don't know if you heard it

{Roman}
Okay, thank you Padre

He ran off, not stopping until he reached his husband who was outside the tent

¥Virgil¥
Ro!! You're alive!!

{Roman}
So are you, My Darling

Virgil lead his husband inside the tent, going to their private section where they sleep

Roman sat down on their makeshift bed, Virgil grabbing things to treat his cuts, bruises, and dirt stains

Virgil came back with his stuff after finishing up the soldier from earlier. He sat down on their bed, wetting a cloth to get rid of Roman's dirt stains. He poured rubbing alcohol on another cloth to treat Roman's cuts

This is going to sting a bit, it will help disinfect your cuts. If needed, you can squeeze my hand or scream into a pillow

Roman grabbed Virgil's pale hand

¥Virgil¥
On 3, ok?

Roman nods

¥Virgil¥
1, 2, 3

Roman squeezed Virgil's hand as his cuts were getting disinfected

I'm done, your cuts are going to be ok

Roman smiled and pulled his husband into his lap, hugging Virgil from behind and kissing his purple hair. Virgil blushed and smiled as well

Logan called for all of his friends to meet him in his tent

{Roman}
Logan's calling for us, do you want me to pick you up or let you stand?

Can you please pick me up, I love it when you do, it makes me feel special

{Roman}
Of course, My Darling

Roman gently picked Virgil up bridal style, walked them out of the medical tent and into Logan's tent

All of their friends were there. Logan, Patton, Emile, and Janus. There was Remus, the weapons expert and Logan's husband. There was also Remy, Emiles boyfriend and 1st Lieutenant. The final member of their group was Thomas, Logan's second in command and Captain of their army

[Logan]
Our enemies surrendered, do you know what that means?

Everyone looked at him funny, like they don't know what they were talking about

[Logan]
FREEDOM

¥Virgil¥
So that means that they'll-

Logan nodded, a proud look on his normally stoic face

¥Virgil¥
Finally!! Ro, we can get our house back and live peacefully together

{Roman}
Thank god that they'll leave, they've been invading our homeland for years now

(Patton)
Yay!! Janus, we could finally move out of our tiny house!!

<Janus>
Finally, that place was riddled by rats

{Remus}
Did you say rats?! Logan, can we move into Jan's tiny house?

[Logan]
No. I will not have you sympathizing with them

{Remus}
Awww

Remy and I could take back our house, my therapist office, and Remys coffee shop

When it opens again, I'll get you all discounts

Thomas opened Logan's drinks cabinet and poured them all a glass

•Thomas•
A toast to all of us, we all played a part to make the enemies surrender

The group clinked glasses and drank

[Logan]
Since the enemies left, it would be wise to put down our tents and go back into town

{Roman}
Good plan, Remember that you could visit us for dinner or something like that!!

Everyone else said goodbye to Roman and Virgil as the couple walked to the medical tent

Virgil got set down on the ground and the husbands got to work with putting down their tent after the medical stuff was safely packed away in boxes and bags

The couple waved goodbye at their friends, walking into town and getting their house back, relieved that the war was over
