The two met in the most unconventional way. Virgil was having a panic attack because of the many loud noises around him. Roman spotted him and helped him calm down.

The two were from different crowds so they couldn't interact in public. But they did in secret. They talked on the phone, met in secluded areas, and faced timed without any of their groups in the same room

They became friends during that time. Roman developed a crush on Virgil as time went on. He wanted Virgil to be his boyfriend but knew that they can't if their friends found out about their meetings

One day, Roman confessed to Virgil saying that he wanted to be his boyfriend. Virgil said yes and the two began to date in secret. The two realized that they can quit their group and start a new one in secret. So they did

In a very secluded spot in the woods, Roman and Virgil began their new life. They met 4 other people, one of which being Romans brother. Logan came from the Genius group, Patton came from the Smile group, Janus came from the Snake group, and Remus came from the Trash group
