Roman and Virgil are DEMIGODS meaning that they have a god and a human parent

In this case, Romans and Virgil both have godly fathers while their mothers are human

Virgil is a son of Hades, the god of the underworld and riches while Roman is a son of Apollo, the god of the sun, music, and light

The two of them wondered if they would ever meet their Dad, But Chiron said that it was very hard to see a god in person

Virgil was all by himself in Cabin 13, Hades wasn't considered an official Olympian since he  stays in the Underworld, So Nico Di Angelo and Percy Jackson, a son of Poseidon installed a Hades Cabin for his kids. Roman had lots of siblings in Cabin 7 due to Apollo's many many romances
(most of his turn into plant life #HyacinthDeservedBetter)

Roman was beloved by all around Camp, getting bullseyes during Archery, making really good art in Arts and Crafts, flawlessly maneuvering Pegasus's during Flying to name some of many achievements. His most prized possession was his clay bead necklace to represent every summer he spent at Camp Half Blood along with his Samurai Sword which he used for battle

Virgil was by himself during camp every summer, no one wanted to be his friend and everyone avoided him when he went to the Mess Hall or did Activites with other campers. Virgil didn't wear his bead necklace, instead he hung it on a hook in Cabin 13 along with his band posters

Every night, Virgil would stargaze on Thalia's hill. It would help ease and calm Virgil's anxiety. Virgil would often question on why he's here and not being "normal". He would also question his sexuality and realized he had a giant crush on the one and only Roman from Cabin 7

Well on this night on particular, Virgil was on Thalia's hill when he heard footsteps coming from someone

It was Roman of course. Cabin 7 has a very very good view of Thalia's hill and Romans bed was in front of a window which can clearly see the hill. Roman always saw a mysterious camper wearing a purple patched hoodie walking towards Thalia's hill. Roman decided to follow the camper on this particular night

Have you come to avoid me like literally everyone here at Camp?

{Roman}
No, I'm-

I know exactly who you are. "Oh Roman, you're so brave and strong" "Roman you're such a lifesaver" "Roman this, Roman that" so stupid

He was trying to not blush when saying Romans name

{Roman}
I was just wondering if you needed a friend, I always see you alone at Camp

I uh I do, everyone avoids me like they think that I have a disease or someone. I'm not the only Hades kid here, ya know. Few years back there was someone named Nico Di Angelo and he helped the famous Percy Jackson on his quest to stop Kronos's return

{Roman}
Well then Virgil, looks like I am your very first official friend! Cool right?

I guess, it means that I'm not alone anymore, pretty nice

Roman and Virgil would meet every night at Thalia's hill, stargazing and talking about stuff

One night, Virgil worked up the courage to confess his feelings to Roman

{Roman}
Hey Virgil!!

Sup, Roman. Can I uh tell you something if you don't mind

{Roman}
Of course, go ahead!!

¥Virgil¥
I like you not just as friends, is that okay?

{Roman}
Yeah Virgil it's totally okay with me, I like you too

Virgil hugged him, happy that Roman accepted his feelings

{Roman}
I can find a date spot for us if you're comfortable with that

Yeah, that would be awesome

A few weeks later, Roman and Virgil had their date in the Strawberry Field. The two enjoyed it and went on more after Camp Hours

On one of their dates, Roman asked a question that would change Virgil's life

Virgil, can I ask you something if you don't mind?
