Sorry for getting up at night, I was hungry so I was on my way to the kitchen and then this happened

It's alright Stormy, if you're still hungry then I'll let you get a midnight snack and come back to our room afterwards. In the meantime I'll check on Remy and Thomas
Virgil nods his head and kissed Romans cheek, running off to please his hunger
Roman went across the hallway to find his sons asleep, sighing in relief that they're quiet
Virgil came back to his and Romans room, finding Roman at his desk writing something like a poem, song, letter to a neighbouring kingdom, or a new idea for later
Virgil hugged Roman from behind the back of the chair, signalling Roman that his husband came back
Roman got up from the chair and picked up his husband, walking over to their bed and laid both of them down under the soft sheets
Roman put his arms around Virgil, smelling the faint lavender and smoke scent. Virgil could smell the vibrancy of roses from their private garden and freshly picked cherries
The royal couple fell asleep
