Christmas was coming soon so the couple was hoping that their children would be available to celebrate with them

They received 3 letters that Thomas's boarding school would be closed until a few days after New Years Eve for Winter Break, Remy's university would let the children have some days off, and Talyn would be free to spend time with their family

Roman got up from his desk after checking the clock, walking out of his office and going down the steps to the coatrack

I'm picking up the children Darling, I'm letting you stay home since you're not a people person. All the other parents from Thomas's boarding school and Remy's university will be there, along with Talyn's playwright friends at the theatre
