Chapter 35

Maddie's POV
I was sure I had just seen Justin crossing our garden. I was looking through the window and I dropped what I had in my hands, which was made of glass so it broke. There were small glass fractals everywhere.

Ross: Are you sure?

Maddie: Y-Yeah and now he disappeared

Ross came to me trying to not step on any of the glass, and hugged me.

Ross: Keep calm, he's not going to do anything to you. He only wants Hanna, and we will protect her.

I said nothing. I only hugged him tighter. Only his presence made me feel safe. Damn, I love him so much.
Everyone kept coming downstairs and Ryland finished meeting all of us. We all dressed up and, as it was already 1pm, Hanna and I cooked lunch after I had swept all the glass.
We sat at the table and started eating and talking. I noticed Ryland had been staring at me since we had sat down, but I ignored him. When we had finished, we all sat at the couch and Ryland spoke.

Ryland: Guys.. Can I stay here for a week?

Riker: Yeah why not, there's a lot of rooms here

Ryland: What about three weeks?

Rocky: Dude, why don't you stay at mom and dad's?

Ryland: I already asked them, but they said I'd be better with you

Rocky: What about... Uhm.. The girls?

Hanna: It's ok, Rocky. He's not a bother at all.
Ryland smiled and gave Hanna a thankful look, so she smiled too.
We decided it, Ryland was going to stay with us for three weeks.

(A/N: I'm going to skip two weeks because I need something to happen then, hope you understand ;) )

*2 weeks later*

The girls and I had decided to spend a day out, without the boys. We called Rydel and asked her if she wanted to come, but she was so busy with.. Ellington.
We said goodbye to the boys and walked to the shop centre.

Brooke: Look at that cute shop!

She pointed at a clothes shop, full of trendy dresses, shirts, skirts, shoes.. Brooke went crazy when we entered. We had been shopping for about two hours when I started to feel sick.

Maddie: Girls.. I need to go to the bathroom..

Hanna: Hold your pee some minutes more

Maddie: I really need to..

Brooke: Let's go Hanna, we already bought too much

They took me to the nearest bathroom where I threw up.

Hanna: Are you ok?

Maddie: Yeah.. I don't really know what's up with me. I think I just have a stomachache

Brooke: That can't be a simple stomachache

Brooke was studying to become a doctor, so I decided to believe her.

Maddie: Then.. What can it be?

Brooke: Uhm..

She seemed deep in thought.

Brooke: Have you had any 'fun' lately?

Maddie: Well.. Yeah

Brooke: Be right back

She walked away and came back some minutes later with something in her hands,

Hanna: What's that?

She said pointing at what Brooke had just brought.

Brooke: A pregnancy test. Maddie, go in that bathroom and.. Well.. You know..

Maddie: ... Okay

After I had done it, we waited for the results. Brooke took it and looked at it, she smiled and showed it to me.

Maddie: I.. I'm pregnant
