Chapter 9

Hanna's POV

I was sitting at the edge of the pool, slightly splashing some water with my legs. Riker was right next to me, some of his hair was wet as I accidentally splashed water on him. "By the way," I break the silence. "Where are your parents?"

"At home" he replied. "Isn't this house yours?" I asked confused. "It is, but it's only our mountain house" he explained. "We earn a lot of money making music" he said "and people actually like it" he added.

"Don't you think this has turned so silent?" said Riker while getting up, "where are Ross and Maddie?!" he exclaimed. "Aren't they here?" I got up and looked everywhere but I couldn't see them.

"Ok, first keep calm" Riker grabbed my shoulders and squeezed them. "I'm going to try and call Ross" he picked up his phone and dialed Ross' number.

"He doesn't answer" Riker said, making me get even more nervous. He hung up and tried calling again. "Riker!" I heard Ross scream through the phone. "Ross! What happened!" Riker yelled.
"What's happening?!" I shouted.

"Maddie fell down and she's unconscious now! I don't know what to do!" Ross cried. "I'll call an ambulance, try and bring Maddie here" Riker said as calm as he could. Then, he called 911.

"Hello? I'm Riker Lynch, one of my friends fell down a mountain and he is unconscious now, we need help as soon as possible" he gave the address of the house we were and we waited for them to come.

"Help!" We heard someone scream from outside. "Thats.." Riker seemed a little scared and confused. "That's Ross!" He ran to him, and I did too.

We ran to the door and found Ross carrying Maddie in his arms. Riker helped him lay Maddie down on the couch. Ross kissed her forehead and held her hand until the ambulance arrived.

Riker spoke to one of the men that got out of the vehicle, and showed him where Maddie was. "Will she be ok?" I asked to Riker, as we were watching them taking Maddie inside the ambulance.

Ross stepped inside, he was sure going with her, he was going to stay with her all the time. I was hoping that she would get better, also worried about Ross. I didn't like seeing him so upset, and I wouldn't even want to imagine what would happen if Maddie never woke up again.
