Maddie's POV

He was totally unfamiliar to me, I was sure I hadn't seen him before. "Excuse me? Do I know you?" I asked in the friendliest voice I could. "I guess not, I'm Ross, nice to meet you" he offered me his hand. I shook it.

"Can I ask you why you joined me while I was taking a selfie?" I asked a little bit pissed off as he had ruined my picture, or maybe not, who knew.

"I saw a hot girl taking a selfie, all alone. Girl had to take this chance" he smirked. "My name is Maddie" I added. "Madison? I love this name" he stared at me.

"I don't like it at all" I mumbled while playing with my fingers. I wonder if he could see I was getting a little nervous, I was a bit shy. "You seem to be alone. I was heading to Starbucks, wanna hang out?" He stood up and held his hand in front of me.

"Sure," I smiled, taking his hand and letting him help me get up. "I'll pay" he kindly said. "Oh you don't have to" I couldn't let him invite me, we'd just met. "I will pay, my lady, and you can do nothing to stop me" he said in a low-pitched voice, trying to sound as an older man. I rolled my eyes and laughed.

It had passed two hours that we had been talking at Starbucks. I had ordered a chocolate frapuccino and he just wanted a coffee. There was a sudden awkward silent.

"Your boyfriend is so lucky to have you as his girl" he said, looking deep down into my eyes, making me feel uncomfortable but great at the same time. "I don't have a boyfriend" I asserted. "Nice information" he smirked, making me blush. Suddenly, I got another phone call.

"Hello, this is Maddie" as I said that, I heard Hanna yelling like crazy, I had to separate the phone from my ear as I didn't want to be deaf. "Are you calmed now?" I asked when I could hear her breath going slower, sign that she had calm down.

"Yeah, I guess. By the way, I'm already at the mall, where are you? I thought you were here when you called me earlier" she exclaimed.

"I'm at the Starbucks, just wait five minutes more please" I begged her, I didn't want her to be angry with me. "Okay fine, but don't be late" she said hanging up.

"Listen, I have to go" I faced Ross.
He grabbed my arm. "Will I ever see you again?" He asked. I didn't answer, I didn't even dare to look at him. "What are you doing tomorrow?" I had nothing to do. "Nothing"

"Can we meet then?" He said, I nodded. I got a piece of paper and wrote my address, phone number and name in it, with a special heart in the 'i', then gave it to him.

"I'll come and pick you up at 7pm. Be ready" he said. I got on my feet as he was so tall and kissed his cheek. He turned around and walked away, but not fast enough to avoid me noticing him turn red like a tomato. Maybe he even liked me, maybe I did like him.
