Maddie's POV
My mind was full of questions as I was cooking dinner for Ross and I. What happened with Brooke left me totally speechless and surprised, I didn't know she had such dark thoughts.
"Madison," Ross hugged me from behind, resting his chin on my shoulder, "what do we have for dinner?"
"Rice and chicken with curry sauce." I answered, leaning my head on his. He put his arm around my waist and placed a kiss on my forehead.
"I'll lay down the table," I felt cold from the lost of contact with his warm body. He started opening random drawers trying to find the table stuff.
"Where are the glasses?" He asked after some coming and going off the living room.
"Have you looked in the cupboard?" I finished placing the chicken on a big white dish and added the sauce. Ross helped me with the rice and, soon, we were already sitting on the table and ready to eat.
"I don't know how this has turned out," I confessed before any of us had had the first bite, "I followed the recipe but I honestly have no idea on cooking."
"I'll be the judge," Ross playfully said as he bit on his chicken. He seemed concentrated as he chewed it and swallowed down his throat.
"How was it?" I asked with a big smile on my face, "you haven't thrown up and I guess that's a good sign."
He laughed and nodded his head, "It's actually delicious, I was ready to lie about it but there's no need to."
I rolled my eyes as I started eating the food on my plate. Ross was right, it wasn't the best chicken with curry I had eaten but it tasted delicious.
After we finished, I took the dishes to the kitchen and put them in the dishwasher. Ross helped me with the rest of things and we both sat down on the couch.
We had started watching a movie when I felt my phone vibrating in my back pocket. I got it out and checked the lock screen, where my wallpaper was a picture of Ross holding Luke and Lillian in front of our house.
'You have a new message from Brooke.' It said. I hesitated a few seconds before unlocking the phone and checking it.
From: Brooklyn
To: Madison
Dear Maddie,
I totally don't regret my words. I just wanted to tell you that you're, in part, the reason my life is ruined. However, I've decided not to kill you. But, don't sing victory yet. I've got contacts, I've got strings to pull. I'm going to destroy everything that you love, just like you did with me.
My eyes widened and I started hyperventilating. I knew Brooke could destroy everything. When we still haven't met neither the boys nor Hanna, I saw how Brooke ruined a girl's life, the girl who had kissed Brooke's ex-boyfriend on accident.
"Madison, are you okay?" Ross looked at me with worried eyes. I still didn't understand why Brooke was so mad at me, I hadn't done anything wrong.
I grabbed Ross' shirt and pulled him closer to me. He wrapped his arms around me and held me tightly. He didn't ask any more questions as we finished watching the movie.
Ross got up and held my hand as we headed towards our bedroom upstairs. Ross got inside the bed when I noticed Luke was awake.
"Hey baby boy." I said as I took him out of his crib, and sat on the bed with him on my arms. He stared at me as I rocked him, he was contemplating everything around him.
"Maddie go to sleep, it's late." Ross groaned. I placed Luke back in his crib and covered his little body with a blanket. I kissed his forehead and stroked Lillian's hair before getting inside my bed. I switched off the lights and Ross spooned with me.

"What?!" I shouted through the phone. I couldn't believe the information that I was receiving.
"What you hear," Hanna cried out, I could hear her panic through the phone, "I'm pregnant, and I don't know who the father is."
"You have to get a DNA test as soon as possible." I got up from the desk where I was working and started nervously walking around the room.
"But how can I get a DNA test from a baby inside my tummy? And Justin is dead, remember?!" She had started speaking quicker and I couldn't understand everything she was saying.
"First of all, the baby is not on your tummy, it's in your uterus, learn some biology. And, second, the new technologies can get the baby's DNA. You can compare it to Riker's and if it's different, you can have an abortion."
"But I can't tell Riker! What do I say? Riker we need to get a DNA test because I'm pregnant and I don't know if you are the father." She sarcastically stated.
"You have to tell him, he's your boyfriend and possible candidate of your baby's father after all."
"I'll think about it." She hung up and left me with the words at the tip of my tongue.
