Chapter 37

A/N: before starting the chapter I have to announce something. I'm doing a format change. I've been writing this story like a dialogue but now I'm gonna change that. If you have read the first chapter of my new story "Breaking Free" then you know how I will write. Sorry for bothering, thanks for reading my stories! :)

Maddie's POV

"Maddie!" I heard Ross screaming from behind me. I couldn't stop running even though the van was out of mu sight. Ross was faster than me, he reached me and grabbed my arm, making me stop, and pulled me closer to him. He hugged me tightly. I couldn't help but crying.

"It will be ok, we will find her" his voice was calm, but I knew he was just as scared and confused as me. But he was stronger. I felt like I was only a weak girl who had lost her best friend.

Ross led me to where the others were. Brooke was sitting on the ground with a serious face. I didn't know what she was thinking, but I didn't care. All that mattered at that moment was Hanna.

"She sacrificed herself for me" I said believing it was all my fault. "She could've ran away and let him kill me" it would have been better. "And kill the baby too?" I heard Ross whisper. I had forgot that there was a baby inside me.. Awkward.

I didn't know how he was going to react. "D-Do y-you h-hate m-me?" I stuttered. I loved him so much I didn't want to lose him. "No" he said with strong voice. "I have to recognize I wasn't ready for this" my heart stopped. "But I know I will be able to support it if you're by my side" my heart started beating again.

He leaned in and kissed me. I wrapped my arms around his neck forgetting about everything, and he led his hands down my back reaching my ass. I just wanted a few seconds more. I didn't care about everyone who was watching us, I needed Ross.

But Riker interrupted us. "Guys! Stop kissing, what about Hanna?!" Now that there was no gun, Riker was apparently brave. "We don't have a clue on where they took her!" Brooke shouted. She sounded angry. With Riker? I don't think so. With herself? Maybe with Rocky?

I didn't want to make her become even angrier so I didn't ask her. "She had her phone with her" the idea popped to my head. "That's right!" it seemed like Riker had a little hope again. "Text her! Quick! Before they take her phone!" Brooke looked desperate.

Riker took his phone out of his pocket. 'Where are you?' I saw him typing. "She answered!" Riker shouted a few seconds after. "Read it!" Brooke yelled, so Riker began reading. "They haven't noticed I have my phone, I heard them talking about where we are going. Apparently there's an abandoned house in the middle of the mountain and.." Riker stopped.

"And what?" Said Brooke a bit more relaxed. "She hasn't continued" said Riker in a confused voice. "Maybe she had to hide her phone" I said. "Or maybe they took they phone but she was able to send" Brooke was getting nervous again.

"What if we don't find her?" She cried. "We will" said Rocky putting his arm around her shoulders, trying to comfort her. She moved away so Rocky's arm fell. "What are we doing here? We gotta go find her!" Riker exclaimed.

"Find who? Hanna?" I hadn't noticed Ryland was there with us too. "Dude, hadn't you listened?" Ross asked. "I have" Ryland admitted. "Then why did you ask?" Ross laughed and patted Ryland's shoulder.

"I don't know, man" said Ryland. We decided to go to where Hanna told us they were taking her. I have to admit I was a little bit scared.
