Athena walked out of her shared tent; she tucked her knife into the waistband of her black jeans and tied her hair back with a hair tie she stole from another delinquent. The sky was still dark and everyone was inside the tents sleeping. She decided to go out and explore a little.
As she walked through the forest she made sure to pay attention to all her surroundings. Sure she was good with a knife but if these grounders really threw a heavy spear at 50mph then that meant they were strong. And strong was something that she couldn't compete with.
Climbing up a small hill she sat at the top. She looked up at the fiery sky seeing the sun rise. Her skin began to glow orange and her hair flowed around her. It was tranquil and she enjoyed every second of it.
She stayed up there for a few minutes and when the sun fully came up, she ventured down the hill and came across a small clear water lake with a small water fall.
Taking off her tan boots and clothing she was left in her tank top and black spandex. (If you don't know what spandex is, just search up volleyball shorts.)
Going into the clear water, she felt the cold liquid relax her tense body and engulf her in a cold blanket. She felt more relaxed as she scrubbed all the dirt off her body.
Walking into the waterfall she brushed her hair back. She combed the long golden locks with her fingers, getting rid of all the knots.
It was calming to finally get rid of all the dirt that was on her face and body. The blood under her fingernails were from helping Jasper. And the cuts on her arms and legs were from gathering wood to make a decent sized tent for her and Octavia.
After a while of just sitting in the water she finally gets out. She sat down on some dark tan rocks for a few minutes, letting the sun dry her skin.
Quickly getting dressed she began to walk to camp.
When she gets back she notices Bellamy, Murphy, and all their followers next to a tree.
As she walks to stand next to them, Murphy throws a knife at a wooden pole, when he misses miserably the blonde lets out a laugh.
"That was amazing, John" she exclaims sarcastically.
"It's that damn kid, messing with my head." Murphy rolls his eyes.
"Yeah, that's not really an excuse," Athena sighs, throwing her knife at the tree, hitting the middle of the "x" mark on the tree.
"You know, some of us didn't throw knives at a board for 2 years Blondie." Bellamy replies while rolling his eyes playfully.
