Finn's pov
I felt his hands on my neck as he started to squeeze. By this point I couldn't breathe, I tried to but they just came out as gasps. He was straddling me as I struggled to flip us over. Above me the grounder suddenly dropped. I gasped over and over trying to breathe.
"You okay?" Bellamy asked as I let out a small thank you.
"We need to go. They're about to close the doors." I said as Bellamy looked off into the distance. I followed his eyesight to see Athena fighting a grounder.
"Athena run!" I shouted as the drop ship door was almost shut.
She quickly looked over to us and that's when the grounder stabbed her in the stomach. She looked down as blood pooled from her shirt and the grounder took out the sword. The darkness of her shirt became more dark as the blood was soaked.
Bellamy quickly grabbed my arm and ran into the fox hole. We ran until we were tired.
Athena's POV
Blood ran down my shirt as I looked back up to face Tristian. He only smiled at me before I stabbed him in the throat. He stared at me in shock as he fell to the ground.
I grabbed the sword before running into the woods. Behind me I could hear around 3 grounders following me. I was tired and I felt like my insides were gonna come out of the stab wound.
I couldn't stop running. Tristian had missed my organs, if he had removed the sword any other angle I would be dead now.
I ran until my knees buckled. I was about a mile away from the dropship now. I hid behind the trees as I heard the war cries get louder. My breathing was hard, there was no way they couldn't hear me.
After a few seconds she looks back with her head spinning. The three grounders were now on the floor, arrows lodged into their bodies. She turns back around and the world is now blurry with darkness surrounding her vision.
But before the darkness takes her she could hear the sound of footsteps coming closer to her. This was it she thought as she felt a hand on her chin. She only saw darkness as fell into a deep slumber.
