After everyone was sent to Arkadia, Athena marched with the grounders. They made camp a few miles from Mount Weather. She had gotten a chance to wash her face from all the dust.
Athena and Adriel were in a medium sized tent. It was dark but it was bright enough to see the male warrior laying in bed staring up at the tent. Athena was sitting on a chair beside a table, staring at nothing. She couldn't get her mind off of the fact that Ana and Clarke knew that the bomb was going to hit.
Her mind was swirling with thoughts of all kinds. The thought of war had no longer become a fear. She enjoyed the sharpness of her blade feeding on fear. The excitement of knowing the other person fears death.
"You okay?" Adriel asked. Her mind finally shut off as she came up with an answer.
"Yeah. Just thinking."
"About?"
"What are we gonna do after this?"
"Well, I'm probably moving back to polis with the commander. Your welcome to come. Azgeda isn't really... welcome there, so you'll probably be praised as a god." He snickered with a smirk as he kept his eyes closed.
"Yeah? And what do they tell you? After all, you are the great Gonageda. The one who slays all." The snickered sarcastically.
"Oh yeah, I have people getting on their knees when I pass by. Much like you will." He opens his eyes with a smirk as her eyes widened in surprise.
Scoffing, she rolled her eyes, "you're an ass."
He only smiled, he was about to retort with a dirty comment before Athena interrupted him, "don't, even think about it."
He put his hands up in defense before closing his eyes again and placing his hands behind his head. Ever since the war between skaikru and Trikru ended, it was like her and Adriel became closer. The couple would often be seen giving each other small pecks here and there. They always tried to do it in private but most of the time they did it in public to annoy each other.
"I'm gonna go take a walk." Athena quickly commented before walking out. Her tent and a few others were on top of a cliff that looked down on a field. On that field were many more tents, filled with warriors who wanted revenge on the mountain.
As she looked around, her eyes landed on a small brunette. Octavia sat on a log, staring into the fire.
"You okay?"
Octavia took a small glance at the blonde that sat beside her. Athena had her hair brushed and clean, no braids littered her hair just yet, and no paint was laid on her face.
