Soon after the flares were launched, everyone went inside their tents and fell asleep. Athena Kane's body was tired, she had been fighting last night and earlier today she was running everywhere.
She had been laying in bed for a while now. Tossing and turning. She just couldn't get it out of her head that if the flares didn't work, then 300 people would die.
Having enough of this she went over to the gate and told someone she would keep watch.
As stared ahead, she took notice of everything. Every little noise she heard made her grow stiff. Even the sound of the wind in her ears would cause goosebumps to rise.
But that's when she heard a noise. An owl to be exact. Except when she looked towards where the sound came from, a white lily pad layed infront a tree.
He is gonna get himself killed one day.
"Hey you seem on edge. I'll keep watch." A blonde delinquent comes up to her.
"Oh, um sure." She responds as her eyes finding their way back to the flower.
She quickly goes back into her tent. The first time she met Adriel she knew they would meet again. So behind her bed was a small hole, big enough for a small body to crawl through. Her tent was behind the wall so when she went through, she would pop off a small plate of metal from the wall and go through.
She hoped Octavia wouldnt try to find her. The blue eyed girl wasn't sleeping in her tent. She was probably out sleeping with another friend, probably Harper.
Once the metal plate was back onto the wall, she blonde took off running into the woods, picking up the lilies as she went.

Athena comes to a stop behind green bushes. She looks around before entering the cave very quietly. Everything is dark but as she walks farther into the cave she sees Adriel sharpening his sword.
She takes out her knife and carefully walks up to the brunette. Once she is close to him, she reaches around fast and puts the knife to his neck. But once the blade rests on his neck, Adriel quickly reacts and grabs her wrist. He twisted it and turns her around. Now the positions are switched and he has the knife on her neck.
"I was close." Athena sighs, getting out of his grasp and pushing the knife away.
He laughs at her before responding, "sure. Whatever you say Athena."
"Please tell me we're not gonna fight reapers today." She groans as she sees the swords on the table, remembering the events from the other night.
"No, but we are gonna work on swords since your decent at using arrows." He responds as he walks back to the sword he was sharpening.
He grabs two swords and hands one to the blonde.
It was heavier than she thought. The blade was shiny and reflected her face which had a bunch of dirt. The cut on her cheek was now a scab and she had slightly visible eye bags under her eyes.
