Just an fyi I might write in first person this chapter, just to try it but if I don't like it then I'll go back to 3d person.

Miller had told me to get out, Bellamy told him to not let anyone in. As much as I wanted to stay, I knew Miller would cause more problems to Lincoln if I didn't get out. In the ark, Miller was a troublemaker. We never talked but we'd see each other often. My dad and his dad were both guards but he was always pretty shy.
Before I left, I told Octavia to cover for me. She knew where I was going and told me she would try and talk to Lincoln who was still tied up in the dropship.
I was walking through the woods, brushing past all the trees and bushes. It's not a long distance from camp to Adriels cave. As much as I hate walking, the thought of seeing Adriel makes me want to.
He has taught me so many things. How to have better aim when throwing my knife. How to use a bow and arrow, even if I'm not good. How to use a sword. And a bit of his language.
My grandpa was Hispanic so he used to teach me a bit of Spanish. Trigedasleng is somewhat English and Spanish combined so it wasn't that hard to understand and learn.
Once I get into the cave I hear faint rustling. I walk closer to the entrance and see the familiar male strapping his sword onto his back. He had his war paint on and his mask.
"Where are you going?" I ask, furrowing my eyebrows.
"My friend, Lincoln. He hasn't shown up. I'm gonna go look for him." He responds, paying no attention to me as he tucks knives into his pants and boots.
"Adriel." I say softly. I didn't know how to tell him about what happened to Lincoln. His best friend was in my camp. He had told me long ago that they grew up together. He was like his brother to him, he would kill and die for him, and Lincoln would do the same.
"Adriel." I say louder this time, causing him to stop what he's doing and turn around to look at me.
"We have Lincoln." I softly said with soft eyes.
"What?"
"Octavia went missing and Bellamy brought a group out to look for her. She was in his cave and Bellamy took him."
He looked at me harshly. He looked at me like I had just betrayed him.
"Listen, it was either that or Bellamy would kill him."
He leans on his table, both arms gripping the side while his head hangs low. I walk up to him and out my hand on his shoulder, "me and Octavia will find a way to get him out." I reassured him, me and Octavia have been talking about ways to get him out but we haven't had the chance.
