First Last Day

Anna's POV

Finally! A first day of school I'm looking forward to. It's my last first day in this God awful school. I mean it isn't that bad but it isn't that good either. I have a love hate relationship with school, I love learning but I hate how long it takes to learn.

I stretch and yawn before I eagerly go to my closet to find clothes. I pick out my outfit for the day, black jeans and a playboy crewneck. I check the time and it's 6:36am "Okay Anna let's get cracking" I mutter to myself and I go to the bathroom.

I finish shower and as I'm looking in the mirror brushing my teeth I remembered. Last night I decided to slit my eyebrows cause.......well no reason. Fuck it. I looked good as fuck with it anyway, I smiled at my reflection.

I look at the time as I'm putting on my last two rings, it's 7:15am. I'm ready to go. I text the group chat:

Me: I'm leaving in 5, when I pull up I'm honking once. Get in immediately or get left hoes.

K: Well damn, good morning idiot.

E: I'm ready Boon, Morning.

S: Cooper is my ride today.

Me: Morning Kaite, idiot. Good morning Eva. Sab, you show off.

K: Facts, Sab you're showing off.

S: Shut up guys! Lol

E: Hahaha

Oh! These are my friends Kaite, Sabrina and Eva.

I go downstairs, say morning to my Mom and kiss her goodbye all in the same breath.
I grab my keys and unlock my Betsy as I close the front door. I drive a white Range Rover.

Eva's POV

I was already ready when Anna texted the group chat. I guess I was eager to reunite with my girls, I love them dearly. I went back to Canada to visit family over the summer so I missed my friends. I sat on my couch, chatting with my older sister when I heard Anna honk. I said my goodbyes, got my book bag and headed outside.

I speed walked to the car cause boy oh boy did I miss Anna. She came out and we hugged so tightly.

"I've missed you, Eva!" she said as she released herself from the hug and held on to my elbows, looking at me.

"I've missed you more Boony!" I said laughing and sorta blushing cause she was just staring. I went back in for a quick hug and then went to the passenger side, it was getting kinda awkward. Not uncomfortable just strange.

Anna's POV

Eva gave me another quick hug and went in the car. Did I make her uncomfortable? God, I hope not. I've just missed her so much. She's the actual love of my life but I'd never tell her or anyone because I don't think she feels the same. She gives me mixed signals or maybe I'm just mixing the signals because of my feelings for her.........anyways.

I get in and start to drive.

"So, how are you? I feel like I haven't seen you in forever!" I say trying to break the unnecessary awkwardness.

"Ikr! I'm great though. My summer was good with my family. I wish you were there. I-y'all I mean I wish y'all were there." she said while lowering her tone mid sentence.

You see!! What the fuck was that? It hasn't been 10 minutes and this girl already has me confused.

"Oh! Okay. Cool cool." I said, pretending I didn't hear her.

We continued talking on our way to Katie's.

"Omg!! ANNA!!" Eva screamed with her hands over her mouth.

"What?! What?! What?!" I screamed back while laughing.

"Your eyebrow! Whe- Ho-." she said trying to get the words out her mouth.

That made me laugh even more

"Thank you, I guess." I said while laughing.

"You look hot, gawwwd damn!" she was laughing but still visibly shocked.

I just smiled, I didn't say anything more.

We pulled up at Katie's house. I honked my horn once and revved the engine. She came out with both middle fingers out. I returned the energy of course. Eva laughed at us.

Katie is my road dog, my home skillet, my ride or die bitch. She's my best friend. I love her disrespectful ass.

"Get in loser, we're going to hell!" I said as Katie approached my car.

"Ooo wee! Road trip!" she said as she entered the back.

We all laughed. I love this bitch.

"Waaazzzzzuuupppp!!" Katie said while sticking out her tongue.

"Waaazzzzzuuupppp!!" Eva and I said in return.

It was how we greeted each other, everytime.

We didn't talk, we listened to music on our way to school. Vibing. That was how we bonded, especially Katie and I. We were the type of best friends that didn't share our feelings much but we understood each other. It was weird. Like she's my soul mate but friends.

Eva's POV

We get to school and as usual, all eyes are on us. Not even us, Anna. She's the most popular girl in school whether she'd like to admit it or not. I mean she's beautiful, funny, smart and easy to get along with, who wouldn't like her? Not to mention she is famous on Tiktok, like 8.8 million followers famous.

We walk in school and everyone says hi to us, well Anna. We were just collateral friendly damage. I feel someone hug me from behind, I quickly spin around and see Sab with a huge grin on her face. I wrap my arms around her and scream.

"My looooovvvveeee!" I say as we rock back and forth.

"Baby looovvveeee!" she said back to me.

"I've missed you Sabrina Quesada!!" I say laughing.

Sab frowns a little. Fun fact, she hates being called Sabrina.

"I missed you too Eva Cudmore!! But don't try me." we both laughed when she said that.

I'm closer to Sab than I am to Katie and Kaite and Anna are closer to each other than the rest of us. Together though, we're all best friends. Katie and Sab bicker, often and Anna and I, well I try to flirt with her and I think she flirts back but because of her popularity I believe she does that with everyone. So that's our friend group.

Anna was stopped in the hallway by some new kids in school, they were fan girling. Life of the rich and famous. I am about 75% sure Anna is rich but none of us really know because she doesn't say. She walks towards us and she and Sabrina embrace.

We all stand chatting and complementing Anna on her eyebrow slit. She looks so beyond hot, like edible hot. Whew! The bell rings and we all head to our scheduled class. As we're walking I feel someone lightly place their arm around my neck and use their index to stroke my cheek a couple times. Instant butterflies. I looked to my left and it was Anna.

"Have a good day and pay attention."

Fuuuccckkk. This girl will be the death of me.

This is my first time doing a story. How was it?
