The Plot Thickens

Anna's POV

"We weren't even together that long but the scars from the experience seem to linger." she said.

"Yeah, I understand." I said.

"He was a gaslighter and would constantly manipulate me. I dropped all my friends because of him. This went on for 8 months and I always heard rumors of him hooking up with multiple girls. I didn't believe of course until I saw with my own eyes. That's why I tend to believe what I see and not what people say." she explained.

"Wow, what a fucking scumbag." I said. I looked over to her and she stopped painting and just sat there.

"Hey, let me what you got so far?" I asked. I changed the subject and focused on the present. I peeped at her canvas and she quickly turned it.

"No peeking." she said.

"You're saying no a lot today. I am not a fan, just saying." I complained and sent an air kiss to her.

"Come kiss me for real." she said.

"No no no. You said no touching ma'am." I reminded her.

"I may have made a slight mistake." she confessed.

"No shit Sherlock. Okay let me make it easier for you, I think my self control is pretty great. So your task is to make me want lose self control." I told her.

"Alright, I can work with that." she said confidently. We continued to paint and enjoy each other's company. I had to get up a few times to stretch my knee but other than that it was a splendid afternoon into evening spent with the love of my life.

We packed up all our stuff and went back to the jeep and threw everything in the back. While I drove Eva back home, I saw her reach to hold my hand twice but she was able to resist the urge. I laughed to myself both times. We pulled up to her house and she sat and just looked at me with sweetest smile.

"Hi beautiful." I said.

"Hey bub." she responded.

"Thank you for today. You know like accepting me for who I am. The good, the bad and the ugly." I said and bent my head down so she won't see me tearing up.

"You're welcome baby." she simply said.

"And just to reassure you, I won't ever manipulate you. As a matter of fact I don't even think I can, you know me too well." I said and looked up at her with a smile. She returned the smile then leaned over to my side.

"Can I have a 2 minute break from the rule?" she asked and pulled me in for a kiss before I could answer. She pulled away after a short time.

"I love you Boon." she said.

"I love you too beautiful." I said. She got out and walked inside. I waited until I saw her bedroom light on and left. I drove home listening to DaBaby - Blame It On Baby(deluxe) album, one of my favorites.

I got home, emptied the jeep and walked inside. Walked in the kitchen and saw Amanda there, urgh.

"Oh hey goodnight Boon!" she exclaimed.

"Anna is my name. Goodnight, why are you here?" I asked.

"We're pulling an all nighter and Mrs. Shumate sent me to the house to get some stuff from her office. How was your picnic?" she asked.

"Perfect with the most perfect person in my life." I gushed.

"Okay great, well I'll be heading back now. You should wear pink more often." she said and winked at me. I didn't respond, I left the kitchen and went straight to my room. Took off my clothes and played Among Us until I was ready to sleep.

Eva's POV

I woke up late so I had to do everything quickly. I threw on a white tank top and black sweatpants after I took a quick shower. Rushed out the house without breakfast and into the car. Anna was picking up Katie and Deb so I just went straight to school.

I got there with 10 minutes to spare and walked over to our friend group.

"Hey guys, morning." I said.

"Morning Titty Turner." Katie said.

"The fuck Katie? Not fucking funny bruh. You always laugh at fucking nothing." Anna snapped. She held my arm firmly and carried me over to her jeep. She opened the back door and motioned for me to sit.

"What the hell are we doing here Boon? Also you were very rude to Katie." I said. She opened her back door and rummaged through a knapsack without responding.

"Anna! Why am I sitting here?!!?" I shouted. She closed she back door and walked over to me.

"Bruh your fucking nipples are very much visible in the tank top. What do you mean what's wrong? I was looking for a hoodie for you. Here." she said in a raised voice but not loud. I looked down and saw that I forgot to wear a bra. I felt embarrassed and looked at Anna.

"Okay? So you see why you need the hoodie?" she said. I put it on and tried to leave but she stood in the way.

"Good Morning Eva." she said and smiled.

"Morning Boon." I replied. She then moved out of the way and I got out. She closed the door and locked up and the bell rang as we were walking back.

"Thank you." I told her as we walked to our first class.

"I got you." she simply said. We got to our seats and she sat next to me in Brad's spot. He came in a couple seconds later and froze at the door. I looked at Anna and she was too busy getting her notebook out of her bag to notice him. I looked back at him and he was making his way to her.

"Boon, heads up." I said.

"I see him." she said without raising her head.

"Get out Shumate." he said.

"Morning Bradley, what's up?" she said and looked at him with a confused face. I was also confused at her reaction, she was oddly calm.

"Get out and let me sit next to my soon to be girlfriend!" he sneered. She looked at me and smiled then back to him.

"I think they're other seats that you can occupy, don't get too worked up over a little old seat. We're here to learn." she said and leaned back in her seat.

"You're gonna end up like your boy Cooper, one by one I'll fuck y'all up." he threatened. She looked at me again and smiled.

"Mr. Bradley please find a seat I am ready to begin my class." the teacher said. He obeyed and found a seat.

What does Anna have up her sleeve? Just a few minutes ago she got aggressive with her best friend for making a joke about me but in front of her rival she smiled and remained calm.

During class Brad kept blowing me kisses and every time he did it I flipped him off. Anna remained focused on the teacher but I knew she saw him at least once.

Class was dismissed and while we were packing up Anna said "What the entire fuck?". I looked over and she was on her phone.

"What's wrong Boon?" I asked. She looked at me and then showed me what she was looking at on her screen. An unsaved number sent her two nudes, the girls body was flawless. I mean very captivating, honestly. The text read 'All yours anytime you're ready Anna xxx'.

"What the fuck?" I said.
