Anna's POV

I just sped out the yard for dramatic effect but as I got to the road I slowed down. My phone rang five times since I left the house, all from Eva. I called Cooper.

Cooper: Shlime

Me: Ayo, I'm coming over.

Cooper: I'm not home, we by Jean's house.

Me: Send the location, I'm coming.

Cooper: Alright bet.

On my way to Cooper's house I couldn't wrap my head around why Eva would have sympathy for a person like Brad. Maybe somewhere deep down she had some sort of feelings for him. I mean he was nothing but disrespectful to her, how could she?

I just needed time to think and cool down. I did not want to see or hear from Eva or any of the girls. I fiddled with my thoughts until I finally reached my destination. I texted Cooper that I was outside, he came out and escorted me in.

"Shumate! If you're here, where are the girls?" Jean-Victor asked.

"They're at my house." I answered.

"So what's wrong?" Zack asked.

"Long story. Has anyone heard from Jesse or Jack since?" I asked.

"Nope." they all answered simultaneously. I took out my phone and called them.

Jesse: Anna! What's up?

Me: You guys good?

Jesse: Yeah. We did what needed to be done.

Me: Okay, that's just part one. Jack will begin part two tomorrow.

Jesse: For sure, later. Tell Cooper he's a fucking psycho *laughs*

Me: *laughs* Later

"They're good and all set for phase two." I informed the boys.

"Okay, well I'm about to go sleep. Anna you can have the couch, you boys can sleep on my bedroom floor." Jean-Victor said.

"Okay, thank you. Goodnight." I said. They left and went upstairs while I tried to make myself comfortable on the couch. I stared at the ceiling and wished I had my Father right now. He may not have been able to fix anything but just a cone of ice cream at our secret spot would've done wonders. My phone pinged and I saw text from Eva.

E: Bub, plz j let me knw ur safe.

Me: 👍

E: Okay, I love you.

Me: ❤️💋

I couldn't have her worried about me but I was still so upset with her. I fell asleep soon after.

The sound of heavy footsteps racing down the staircase, woke me up.

"RISE AND SHINE!" Zack shouted as he reached the first floor.

"Fuck! Why are you so loud and obnoxious this early in the morning?" I groaned as I sat up.

"Morning to you too Shlime!" he said. Cooper and Jean came down soon after and they looked very much sleep deprived.

"Is he always this energetic in the morning?" I asked them.

"Yes and it's fucking annoying." Copper said.

"It is. Anyway I'm heading out now but you can go visit the girls by me if y'all want. Probably get their bathing suits or tell Eva she could give them the ones from my room. I'll be there around mid-day." I said.
