Complicated

Eva's POV

"Hey I know you've been up for so long." Anna said and I smiled. She was playing in my hair and it felt so good that I wasn't ready to get up just yet.

"How'd you know?" I asked.

"Your breathing changed." she said. Of course she paid attention to my change in breathing, she paid attention to everything.

"Girl, you pay attention to everything." I said as I got up.

"Am I not supposed to?" she asked. I smiled and kissed her cheek. She turned my face and kissed my lips, slowly at first then it intensified. She sat up not breaking the kiss pulled me on her lap while she moved her hand to my back. I pulled away.

"We shouldn't." I said. She tilted her head and frowned.

"Reason?" she asked.

"Because it will complicate things." I said.

"What things? Us?" she asked. I nodded in approval.

"Wasn't asking me to sleep here complicated?" she asked.

"Yeah, I guess. To be honest, I don't know what to do." I confessed. She hugged me and put her head between my breasts.

"I understand." she said. I kissed her head and we stayed that way for a while.

"Oh hey, how's your Dad?" I asked. Her body tensed and she held me tighter. Something wasn't right.

"He's gone." she said. My heart sank. There were no words I could've said in that moment, I was heartbroken for her. I tried to lift her head but she refused.

"I'm sorry baby." was all I could've said. She lifted her head and leaned back.

"Its okay." she said and raised me off of her.
She got up and began putting on her clothes.

"You're leaving?" I asked.

"Yeah, why you want me to stay?" she stopped and asked.

"Yes please." I said and made a sad face.

"Shit like that is going to make things complicated Eva. I can't even pretend to not want to stay." she said and shook her head.

"You can use my clothes." I said.

"Mhmm, okay ma'am." she said and went to  into the bathroom to shower. I did the same when she was done and we went downstairs for breakfast.

"Morning Mrs. Cudmore." Anna said.

"Oh hey Anna, I didn't know you slept over." she said. Anna just smiled. Mom made waffles, eggs and bacon, my favorite. We ate more than we should've honestly and went back upstairs stuffed to capacity.

"Fuck! That was so good I think we overdid it." I said as I fell face forward on my bed.

"Think is an understatement. We overdid it for sure." Anna said. She got in bed next to me and got on her phone. I wanted to ask how she was coping but I knew she would not have answered me so I held my tongue. She didn't appear sad but I knew how her mind worked, it either stores emotion and either realses it as anger or avoidance.

"So complicated huh? That's what we're going with?" she asked.

"Yeah, I guess. You don't agree?" I asked.

"I mean we are complicated but if it was my decision we would've fucked this morning and forget about everything in the past." she said. I slapped her arm.

"Ouch! For what now?" she asked.

"Because you're rude." I said and laughed. She laughed along with me and eventually returned to her phone. We slept most of the day and got up around 6pm.

"Ayo, I haven't slept this much in a while. I feel rejuvenated." Anna said as she stretched and sat up putting her back against the headboard. I scooted over to her, put my head on her lap and looked up at her.

"Were you really not sleeping because of me?" I asked. She leaned down and kissed my forehead.

"Yes." she simple replied.

"So what were you doing all day and night." I asked although I knew because Devyn told me.

"Uhhh the usual. I moved out the pool house so I would either play Xbox all night into morning or go down to the pool house and drink till I passed out in the chair." she admitted. I closed my eye because I felt the tears forming.

"Okay." I said softly.

"Come let's go get sushi. I mean once it isn't too complicated." she said sarcastically. I rolled my eyes at her.

"Eva stop doing things to make me want to fuck you, please." she said. Wow, that was sexy as fuck. I scoffed and got up to put on a hoodie and shoes so we could leave, Anna did the same.

Anna's POV

We get to the sushi bar and we were eating and conversing when a girl about my age and what seemed to be her mother came up to us.

"Hi, I'm Sarah and this is my daughter Jordan. She said you're a big tiktok star and wanted to get picture but was too shy to come alone." she said. I smiled and got up to greet them properly.

"Hey Jordan don't be shy, I enjoy meeting you guys." I said. She stepped out from behind her mother and smiled shyly. I go up to her and hug her and she begins to cry.

"No sweetheart don't cry, I'm not that big of a deal." I said and she laughed.

"I love you so much." she finally said.

"I love you too. Now you need to wipe those eyes and let's take the most fire pic. And I'll do one thing more, let's make a tiktok. Any dance you like and I'll do it." I said and she squealed. We took the pictures, do the tiktok, they thanked my profusely and left.

We finished our food and headed back to Eva's home. Whole time Eva kept looking at me and smiling which was so confusing. We get back and head to her room.

"Bruh, you're making me feel weird." I said as I took off my shoes and hoodie.

"What did I do?" she asked.

"You keep smiling at me and I don't know why." I said. I put my cane down and got on the bed. She crawled between my legs and laid on my stomach.

"I've never seen you with a younger fan before. You were so patient and kind." she said while she made circles on my stomach.

"Thank you. They make me happier than I make them to be honest." I admitted.

"That's so sweet." she said.

"Eva, I know we're complicated but I need you. My dad's funeral is next week and I'm gonna need you and I know I chased you away and I'm so sorry. I did it because I felt it was unfair for you to take care of me but I underestimated the-" she cut of off with a kiss.

"I'll be there for you." she said.
