Mayhem Pt. 2

Eva's POV

By the time I felt strange arms around my waist and I was ambushed with a kiss on my cheek, in quick succession. I tried wiggle out of the person's grip but to no avail. Suddenly I felt the pair of hands gone and I looked back, I saw Cooper marry his fist to the person's face.

It all happened so fast but I made out the person Cooper punched, fucking Brad. He stumbled back but didn't fall. I faintly heard Anna's voice shouting something, I looked around and saw her running through the crowd.

I ran infront of her in an attempt to stop her. She stopped briefly and said "Eva. Get your sister, get Dev and leave here right now." she ordered. She gave me her keys and continued towards the commotion.

Three boys ran through the crowd to the fight and Anna shouted to Cooper for him to run. He bolted in the opposite direction in which Brad and his boys followed behind him. Anna, Jean-Victor and Zack were no where in sight, which was strange. Sab and Katie ran up to us confused and afraid.

"Where did he go?" Sab asked frantically.

"He ran out the house and they ran after him." Dev answered. Sab ran out the house and we immediately went behind her. We had to push past a lot of people before we could get out but when we did, we didn't see Cooper. We saw Brad and blonde guy in each other's face. Brad's posse surrounded them but their presence didn't seem to intimidate the blonde at all. He was muscular and looked as though he could've broken Brad's jaw with one punch.

"All I want is an apology bro, you ruined my shirt." the blonde boy said calmly.

"Not a fucking chance, you piece of shit! My and crew I will destroy you so I suggest you move along. We've got more important business to attend to." Brad said and tried to push past him but he didn't budge. The blonde stepped back and headbutted Brad in his face, followed by two of the quickest right and left hooks I've ever seen. Brad's body became limp and fell gracefully to the ground.

The crowd that gathered around them were filled with 'oooos'. His boys ran into the blonde and six burly boys stepped out the crowd and began to beat the living daylight out of Brad's crew. It was like a scene from a movie.

I felt someone grab my hand, pulling me away from the crowd. I looked up and it was Anna. I pulled Sab with me and she pulled Katie and the others.

"Time to leave." she said and carried us to the jeep. Before she left though I swore she saw Christian and he gave her a thumbs up.

"Anna. What. The. Fuck. Is. Going. On!" Sab shouted. Anna walked over to her and hugged her.

"Listen, Cooper is safe. He said to stay by me and you'd see him tomorrow." she reassured her. She turned to Dev and Katie and told them the same thing.

"Listen, let's go home get something to eat then we'd discuss further. Maybe even facetime the boys for security." she said. We all agreed and piled into the jeep and left.

Anna's phone kept ringing on the drive home but she refused to answer it. We finally arrived at her home and everyone got out and went to the kitchen.

"Eva, let them have the sushi in the fridge and whatever else. I need to speak to Esther." Anna said. We went to kitchen and I got the sushi and drinks for the girls.

"That was NOT what I expected!" Jessica exclaimed. That broke the ice and we all laughed. Anna walked in while we were laughing.

"It's good to hear y'all laughing. Sab, Katie and Jessica, y'all know where the guest bedrooms are. There's a change of clothes in each one along with new underwear. Dev they'd show you to the rooms." she explained. She then walked over to me and sat on the counter.

"Idiot, what the fuck happened?" Katie asked.

"Well from what I saw, Brad had his paws on Eva and then he kissed her cheek but before I could've gotten to him, Cooper did. I have no idea how the other fight started though." she explained.

"But where were you, Zack and Jean?" Dec asked.

"Well we passed around the house hoping to cut Brad and they off to let Cooper escape but they ran into problems of their own." she said and smiled.

"They beat those boys up really bad, it's kinda sad, I hope he's okay." I lamented.

"Eva! Are you dumb? All those things you told me Brad said to you, you're sorry for him?" Jessica said. Anna got off the counter slowly and left the kitchen.

"That's fucked up Eva. Brad did Anna so much wrong and when he got what he deserved you say something like that?" Sab said.

"That's totally fucked up!" Katie added and left the kitchen. Jessica and Sab left soon after as well so only Dev and I remained.

"You put a protection order on him so she couldn't get him beaten up, he takes advantage of that and threatens her and disrespects you and y'all relationship. She still did not act. He injured Cooper and even physically touched you AND kissed you. Now why would you say something like that?" Dev asked.

"I-I-I I don't even know why I said that. I need to find her and apologize." I said and ran to her bedroom. Opened the door and she wasn't there. Checked the bathroom, closet, all the guest bedrooms and her mother's office. I finally checked the theater and there she was, watching Ice Age.

I walked over to her and she shifted, giving me room to sit next to her.

"Hey Boon." I said.

"Eva." she replied.

"Are you angry at me?" I asked. She did not respond.

"Okay, I guess you are." I said and got up to leave.

"Yeah, fuck off." she mumbled. I spun around and blocked her view.

"What?" I asked.

"I said fuck off. Maybe if I disrespect you over and over you'd display an ounce of the  sympathy you displayed for that cunt!" she shouted. Her eyes filled up with water and she tapped her fingers over the cup holder.

"I'm sorry, I don't even know why I said that. It's just that it looked painful." I said. She flew out of her chair and motioned to leave but I blocked her.

"Eva Cudmore, MOVE!" she yelled. Her body tensed and shook slightly. I hugged her immediately but apparently that made matters worse. She wriggled out of my grip, jumped over the chair and left the theater. I ran behind her but she was out the house and in her jeep faster than I could've kept up with. She sped off and almost crashed into the gate while it was opening. She screeched out and soon she was out of my sight.

"FUCKKKKKK!!" I screamed as I realized how bad I screwed up. My only fear was receiving a call in the middle of the night saying that she was hospitalized again.
