Anna's POV

I fumbled with my sneakers as I tried to get them on quickly. I overslept and was late for school. I had already showered and was dressed but these darn shoes were determined to make me later than I already was. I slid down the banister, into the foyer and out the front door. Got into my car and drove off. The girls had already messaged me that they were going ahead so I went straight to school. I got to school and ran through the halls skating into my first period which was math.

"Miss Shumate, this is unbecoming of you. You're late!" said Mr. Perkins, my favorite teacher.

"I'm *pants* sorry *pants* sir. It won't *pants* happen again." I said as I tried to catch my breath. I go to my seat and the class continued. I look to my left and the girls were all looking at me confused.

"Overslept." I mouthed to them and they nodded. Apart from that adrenaline filled morning school was rather bleek. Eva and I weren't acting like a couple but we did flirt more openly. She knew I was new to this so she took it at my pace which I appreciated so much.

School was over and Eva and I stood by my car while we waited for Katie and Sab. Sab and Cooper were on a break so she rode with me. I was in the front passenger seat, door open and I sat with my legs facing outside. Eva stood in front of me and my hands hugged her thighs while she massaged my head.

"Why are people staring at us? Like they aren't even being discreet." Eva questioned.

I just chuckled. Eva came in school late so she won't know but I've never been public with anyone I liked or dated.

"What is it?" she questioned again.

"THE Anna Shumate showing public display of affection?" Katie said in complete shock.

"That's why." I said to Eva.

Sab made a whiplash sound and she and Katie laughed. Idiots.

"Don't tease my baby." Eva said but she also laughed.

While we laughed I spotted Emily in my peripheral coming at the speed of light. I held on to Eva tighter burying my head in her stomach.

"Anna Banana!! Hiiiii hun!" she said. I inhaled and exhaled. I peeped out from behind Eva's stomach and nodded "Sup Emily."

"The gworls are fighting!" I heard Katie say to Sab. The two fools then chuckled.

Eva did not turn around she kept her eyes on me but I could tell she was upset.

"What are you doing Friday? Let's have a part two to our date." she said with a smile but it felt shady.

I looked up at Eva "Beautiful, what are we doing Friday? Don't we have a date?"

She smiled but it was one of relief and then victory. "Yes we do." she responded. Her gaze was still on me. I tapped her thighs as indication that I wanted to get up. What I won't allow is anyone to disrespect Eva so I stood up to make my point clear.

"Well whenever you're finished, call me. The later the better." Emily said chuckling.

"The fuck?" Eva whispered and she spun around. I spun her back to me in the same movement and cupped her face "Not worth it." and I kissed her forehead.

Emily scoffed and walked off.

"And don't came come back home wrecker!" Katie yelled. She turned to Eva and I "Or condo or studio apartment. What the fuck are y'all?"

"That's my baby and ain't nobody finna touch her!" Eva said and we all laughed. We all got in the car and I carried them home.

I got home and my parents were home, what a pleasant surprise. I ran and hugged them and gave them the rundown on what's been happening so far in school but not Eva. They know I'm bi but they've never seen or heard me speak about a girl so when Eva and I decide what we are, I won't hesitate to introduce her to them.

I went upstairs and began my homework. After two hours later my phone buzzed.

K: well fyi, I've never seen you with a girl before. I mean you'd tell me everything but I've never seen it with my own eyes. Eva can make you melt with one word when you're angry, never seen that before and the fucking public display of affection. I locked my phone and went back to my homework.

Eva's POV

Katie is a trip but I won't trade her for the world. When Anna told me she never been in a relationship I never thought too much of it.

She's never even been seen in public with someone. Do I really have that effect on her? What is it about me that made her do a 180 and go against all her rules? So many thoughts ran in and out my head as I showered and did my homework. I finished and packed my books in my bag and went to bed.

~Fast forward to Saturday morning~

Anna's POV

I was in the kitchen eating breakfast when I heard the front door open and footsteps coming closer.

"Booooon!" Eva yelled as she ran up to me. She hugged me and kissed me all over my face as if she hadn't seen me at school the day before. I wasn't complaining though. I sent a driver to pick her up and bring her to me. Well the original plan was for me to pick up all the girls around 2pm so they'd get ready for the party by me but I wanted Eva to myself for a few hours first.

"Hi Eva the diva." I said after the barrage of kisses ended. I then held her face and kissed her forehead, cheeks, chin, nose and then lips in that order. "Hi beautiful." I said after I finished. I sat back down to finish my breakfast. Eva squezzed herself on my lap at began eating from my plate. I sighed, sat back and allowed her do whatever she wanted. She always did that but I had no objections.
