"But we're pretty much home now." Jason finished telling me the story of how Smith had called him to come get Blossom. In the woods. When he started the story telling with those exact words, my heart dropped and I was not very far from dropping all of my things in the parking lot. "Um- Okay. I'll make it home as soon as possible." I was upset with all of them, to be honest. Not upset enough not to say I love you back to Jason when he said it, but upset enough to consider actually not driving home directly to have a bit more time without it. Without them.

I had put the grocieries in the trunk of my car and slammed it shut, all with anger and annoyance. I sat in front of the wheel for a while, just thinking about what actually happened. I couldn't stop thinking about it because I knew that Jason would be blaming me, in front of everyone else, for having Smith in our lives again.

I started the car and slowly started rolling out of the parking lot. Suddenly I noticed something in the rear view mirror. Something moved inside the trunk of my car. I shook it off for a second but actually didn't forget any of it. It moved again and I felt like stopping the car to check the problem out.

"Maddie." Someone whispered. Maybe I had just gone mad? "Madison."

Suddenly a head popped out of nowhere, a head that was attached to Smith's body. What in the world what was he doing in my car? And how did he get in there?

"What do you want?" I asked as politely as I could as I didn't want any extra drama. "You."

I put my hand up in the air and wicked a bit on my ring finger. "I'm sorry. You can't have me,"

"Doesn't mean shit. Thing is, I have been playing games with your people. Something just happened, right? With the precious little Blossom?"

"Yeah. I don't know why you're so calm about it when you know what's coming up for you with Jason and his anger. Don't fuck with his children, you should have been warned before."

"I'll fuck this family sideways until there's nothing left to destroy. Mark my words, Maddie. The faster you let me love you like he never does, and come to spend a bunch of time at my place, the faster your family will be safe again.

"You can't do that. You can't."

"I can, baby. I'm onto Alyssa soon. Just saying. Get shit happen, Mami, and leave the dick that hurts you so much."

"I can't just leave my husband and daughter-" I began crying. Smith flicked a pocket knife open and climbed his way through the car. He put the knife right to my throat, still smiling and all, and had me promise that I was going to at least take a break from Jason. This was the worst thing that could possibly happen.

"Good job, baby girl. Can't wait to make you scream my name, been my dream since the first time you stayed over at the mansion. Only 15 but amazingly blessed." He replaced the blade of the knife with his lips and licked my neck softly, then his lips grabbed a hold of my skin. He gave me a big bruisy hicky. Now this was the worst thing that could possibly happen.

He climbed back there and I couldn't see him anymore. Mostly because I was crying so hard, but also because the background of the trunk really blended with the colors of his clothes.

I had let my hair down to cover the hickey on my neck from my family. I pronounced a weak hello and took the bags of groceries into the kitchen. There sat Jason, Alyssa and Blossom. They were obviously waiting for me. "Look who decided to show up." Blossom sighed. Jason was not to mess with, I could tell by his eyes. "Blossom. Can you take Alyssa to somewhere in the other side of the house?" He asked her. I know that he would normally ask her to take a walk but not after what happened today.
