Madison Lowe.

Jason was completely insane, so happy. He was starting to plan the changes that had to be done in the house. It's been months and he was still the same way. He wanted it to be as safe as possible for our daughter. Securing the stairs, doors and locks. Like I said, insane.

"Jason you have to eat something, Dorinda cooked you some-"

"Maid." His comment made me laugh, even though he was completely caught up with painting the walls pastel pink, he had the time to correct me about Dorinda.

"Come eat with me, babe. You can do this later, the room will still be here." Jason let out a sigh and gave in. "Only if I can have a kiss." Wrapping his arms around me, he slowly leaned in. When our lips finally touched, it was like falling in love all over again. He was a changed man, changed for the better.

Jason McCann.

"Aye! Jason!" Carter stepped into the baby room where I was currently trying to get the crib together. This shit was way too complicated for me to do. "Remember the bank thing? It was today." My hand flew up in the air and came in contact with my forehead. How could I forget? "Sorry it's just been so much lately and my daughter is expected in like two months, that's pretty soon.-" I stopped talking about her and it, knowing that it only pissed them off."Jason you can't keep doing this.. We have a mission at the strip club down the street, we expect you there just like you expect your child." They both laughed at the last part, hurting my non-existent feelings slightly.

The gang wasn't too excited about Baby McCann, everyone but one person made fun out of the responsibility I was taking. My older brother. I didn't even have to tell him, but he understood that I didn't want to put another child through what we experienced as kids. Alex and I grew up around gangs, drugs and violence, we ended up like this so I was going to do my best to keep my personal life private and gang life out of it.

I showered and mentally prepared myself for the upcoming mission, usually drug deals or payments were the main missions at strip clubs. As I got dressed, my little lady came up to me and started stroking my back. How do I tell her this? "I'm going out for a bit, it's a mission and I can't miss more of these." She didn't love the gang part of my life but still accepted it, she actually thought it was a bit intresting. "Where is it at?" The trick question. I couldn't lie to her but I couldn't tell the truth either. Or could I? "Don't get mad at me but...It's at the strip club, probably in the back though." I tried to save myself a bit with the last part. "Have fun." She stated coldly and let go of me, then she slipped into bed.

I noticed that I had about ten minutes extra time and laid down next to her. "I love you Maddie, you know that I only have eyes for you." I was stroking her long brown hair. "I will tell you every single detail about it when I get back here. I'mma need you to trust me on this one." She cracked a smile. "I trust you."

When I got closer to the strip club, my criminal guts were telling me that something wasn't right. It worried me a bit and I hesitated for a while before going inside. This could be intresting.

"Boss!" I heard from the right and the whole table of gang members burst out cheering. Everyone was drunk, this did not look proffessional at all. "What are you doing? You can't be drunk on a mission, those are the rules." Everyone started laughing as I got even more confused. "Jason. This is not a mission, we lied just to get you out of that stupid baby room and away from your baby mama. McCann, you're gonna have a good night out, right here. Prove to us that you're not turning into a fucking pussy." This was wrong, so wrong.

I knew that I had to, so I send them a sly smirk and took everyone to the lap dance section. I realized that I could just fool them all, since everyone was sitting on a sofa next to each other, caught up with the girls on their laps.I sat apart from them but not too far away, saying no thank you to every girl who offered a dance, or a round.

I made myself proud as a father that night.
