Before he could react Smitty practically tackled me lifting me up and started to spin me round. I saw flashes of Austin as I spun. His face was so solemn, he was watching my interaction with Smitty like it hurt. I quickly realised that Smitty had took Austin's place as my best friend and that would make him sad at how far we have come. We also slept with each other behind Austin's back. Maybe that still hurt. Austin wasn't aware of our close friendship now because if asked Smitty to not mention it. I didn't want me to come between them again and here I was smack bang in the middle of them, literally. "Smit, let me down" he placed my feet back on the ground but pulled me in for a bear hug. I was grateful for it really, I was feeling a little dizzy and I needed as much love as I could get in this situation. I didn't know how this was going to go down.

"I didn't know you where in town" he held me at arms length

"I flew in this morning" I smiled up at him

"God damn you look good Rey. Jet lag is supposed to make you look worse not better" he said as he blatantly checked me out

"Shut up, I've not even had chance to shower. This one was on my doorstep before I even got home" I point at Adam, who just shrugged. I managed to get a quick look at Jamie as I smiled at his team. She was cute. Really slim, long dark hair very unassuming. Then I noticed the necklace a very similar one to what was currently hanging around my neck. I looked away quickly but my eyes locked with some very familiar blue irises. My heart dropped to my feet. This is what I was scared of, falling for him again. Well who was I kidding I never stopped. I pressed my lips together as we continued our staring contest. Who knows how long we would have stayed looking at each other if Smitty hadn't grabbed my attention again.

"Well not showering suits you!" He follows my eye line and it dawns on him I've not seen Austin since that day. His eyes go wide and it was his turn to look like a deer in headlights. I just nodded in acknowledgment. "Shit, so this place is cool" he puts his arm around me and leads me away from the group

"Oh shit , oh shit, oh shit. I can't do this" I whisper to him as we get out of earshot

"You will be good but I've just been saying how hot his ex is in front of him and his new girl" he winced

"I liked that part" I chuckled. I put my bag down and got out my gear as I saw the team starting to set up. I saw Austin still staring from the corner of my eye"I think we broke him" I giggled

I watched his team as he got him ready he seemed out of it. I was guessing that might be partly because of me. His girlfriend was hanging off his arm constantly and I know that he would love that, he needed constant affection. I took a deep breath as I realised that she was perfect for him. I never would be. I couldn't give him the attention he craves. He caught me looking over but I turned away stupidly like I was guilty. I shook my head to myself and I made my way over to his team. If I didn't speak to them now this would be a very awkward day.

"Hey guys" I tried to keep a smile on my face. Bobbie pulls me in for a hug, holding me tight

"Shit Rey it's good to see you. Look at you now all sexy and professional" he gave me a wink. Dre smiled and gave me a warm hug and Jay picked me up and squeezed me.

"Jay, how ripped are you now" I fanned myself as he showed off his abs

"Be gentle with Post. I think he's in shock" Dre grabbed my hand

"I didn't want to come when we figured out what was happening if I'm being honest. I'm sorry how things ended but I had to get out" I chewed the inside of my mouth

"I get it" Jay puts his at around my shoulder

"How is he?" I croaked

"I think you two should ask each other that" Dre raises his eyebrow at me
