"So you and Tsukishima has been best friends since you're kids, huh?" Aoyuki glanced at the male beside her, Yamaguchi. The two are currently walking back to their classroom after going to cafeteria.

"Yeah. Tsukki doesn't realize it, but he's like my hero." Yamaguchi smiled slightly, eyes on the floor.

"Hero? How come? I never knew that hero and Tsukki could be in used in the same sentence." Aoyuki furrowed her eyebrows, before grinning in amusement, "Unless the sentence goes like this: The villainy and heinous Tsukishima has been finally slain by the almighty hero." She and Yamaguchi giggled at this.

"Well, there was a time where I was always being picked on by the other kids. Saying that I was skinny, or ugly because of my freckles..." Yamaguchi absentmindedly lifted his hand and lightly caressed his face. He could see Aoyuki looking at him in his peripheral vision. "But then Tsukki suddenly came, I think he scared my bullies that time because of his height." He snickered, making the girl beside him snicker as well.

"No kidding. I can only imagine the horrors of those poor kids. They must have think that Tsukishima's a titan or something." Aoyuki scoffed.

Yamaguchi's grin melted into a softer one, "But I'm really grateful to Tsukki..."

Aoyuki stared at his face for a moment, before looking ahead, "You're not ugly, Tadashi. You're actually cute."

"Wai--what? H-huh?!" Yamaguchi snapped his head to look at his classmate, eyes wide and face a heavy red tint. "Wh-where did that suddenly came from?!"

The loudness of Yamaguchi's voice earned them a few attentions from the students loitering outside their respective classrooms.

"What? I'm just stating a fact." Aoyuki shrugged, very much amused with her classmate's flustered-ness.

Yamaguchi fell silent, the heavy blush on his face never leaving as he averted his eyes on the floor. He gulped nervously, hands turning into a tight fist.

What? What's happening...? Yamaguchi is very much confused why his heart was beating so fast it felt like it will burst out of his chest any minute now. He also feels lightheaded. He slightly shifted his head to look at Aoyuki who was looking ahead, hands clasped on her back as her long, wavy hair bounced with every step. In Yamaguchi's eyes, everything was blurred and the only thing he could see clearly was the girl beside him.

"Ah! Hinata! Kageyama!" Yamaguchi blinked back to reality, the blur-ness of his vision vanished as Aoyuki ran ahead.

Kageyama and Hinata who just exited Class 1-4, Yamaguchi and Aoyuki's room, turned to look at the one who called them. Hinata's face lit up in delight as he grinned widely. Kageyama on the other hand slightly bowed his head in greeting.

"Aoyuki!"

Aoyuki stopped in front of them, taking a quick glance inside their room to see Tsukishima with his headphones in his head. She looked back to the duo.

"What's up? Did you need something from Tsukishima?" This made Kageyama's eyebrows raise in curiosity.

"How did you know that Tsukishima was the one we were here for?"

"Observation. Tsukishima seems pissed, and the only answer I could think of on why he was irritated is that--" Aoyuki pointed at them, grinning. "You two annoyed him. Am I right?"

Hinata's eyes sparkled in amazement as Kageyama's lips parted slightly.

"You're right!!" Hinata cheered. Kageyama was quick to snap his head towards his orange head companion, scowling.
