A/n: All right peeps, I'm back! Welp, not really since I'm still busy as hell, but I decided that I'mma updated this book since I'm starting to feel bad for not updating for a long time. Also, regarding about Aoyuki's height, I've written somewhere in this book that she just barely reached Tsukishima's collarbone or something, but let's erase that. Her exact height is 173.7, just wanna clear that up. Okay, this note is already long enough, and I'mma let you enjoy reading so, ciao!

“Um, isn’t this just a little bit unbalanced?” Akaashi trailed off as he eyed the other taller team which consists of Lev who’s height is 194.5, Tsukishima who’s 188.3, and Aoyuki who’s 173.7. Aoyuki might not be that tall compare to the other guys *cough* excluding Hinata *cough*, but she’s definitely taller than the average girls.
Hinata’s eyes sparkled as he looked at the people at his left. Wow! I’m playing with a setter and ace from the Tokyo powerhouse Fukurodani! He then averted his eyes in front of him where they are faced to faced with the other team. And against Tsukishima and Aoyuki-chan!The former was only looking at him with a blank look, while the latter gave him a lopsided smile, challenge in her eyes.
“What unbalanced?” Kuroo smirked, genuinely amused at the pairing. He threw an arm around Lev who’s standing beside him. “These guys are first years.”
“Woo-hoo!” Akaashi can’t help but to deadpan as Bokuto and Hinata disregarded the unfairness in height and just ran excitedly towards their positions.
Hinata served the ball, Akaashi adjusted his position so that he was aligned with the ball and set it towards Bokuto.
Aoyuki who’s on the right side, and Tsukishima who’s in the left, shuffled their feet to face Bokuto who ran towards the net along with Hinata, Lev guarding the back of the court.
Once Bokuto jumped to spike, Tsukishima and Aoyuki also did. The wall the two first year blocker made was solid, but Bokuto’s power and strength still managed to break their wall. Lev tried to dig the ball, but shanked it, giving another point towards the Owls.
“Yosha!” Bokuto pumped his fists in glee. Aoyuki massaged her right wrist, trying to ease the numbing pain.
“Lev, this is exactly why you shouldn’t run away from Yaku-san.” Aoyuki turned to Lev and smiled playfully.
“Hey! Like I told you, I didn’t ran away!” Lev said defensively, turning a little red.
“Yeah right.” Tsukishima deadpanned.
“Oi you three, focus!” They looked to the side only to see Kuroo watching them with raised eyebrow and crossed arms. The reason why he opted to sit this match out and just stand on the side was because he wanted to coach his kouhai in blocking, plus Lev and Tsukishima.
“Look at him, trying to act like a proper senpai.” Aoyuki muttered to herself as they rotated. This time, it was her guarding the back, Tsukishima on the right, and Lev on the left. She’s in charge of receiving while it was Tsukishima and Lev in charge of blocking and spiking.
Hinata served once more, running towards his position as Akaashi stared at the ball coming towards his way, not giving away any clue on which spiker he’s gonna use.
Bokuto and Hinata started running towards the net. Akaashi tossed the ball towards Bokuto’s direction and Tsukishima was already facing Bokuto and readying to block. While Lev was in front of Hinata, completely lured by the decoy.
Kuroo clicked his tongue and called out, “Lev! I told you to jump after looking at the toss! Read block!”
Aoyuki’s reflexes kicked in as she saw the ball falling right in front of her face. She stretched her arms in front of her and bent her knees, sending the ball towards Lev for him to set.
