Another day has passed, and Aoyuki found herself once again in the Third gymnasium along with the her two senpais, her fellow Karasuno students, and Lev. The group were currently taking a break.

“Oh, by the way, when you’re going one-on-one with a spiker don’t try to block by centering yourself to their body.” Aoyuki looked up from wiping her face with her towel only to find Kuroo looking at her, then to Tsukishima and Lev who are both standing on her left. “Center yourself with their dominant arm instead.”

Lev’s expression visibly brightened. “Oh!”

Tsukishima lowered his towel, “Um, we are technically opponents as soon as we’re in a match, right? Why are you giving us advice?”

Aoyuki blinked, Now that’s a good question right there. I get why he’s teaching me, but the guys? She looked back at Kuroo, awaiting for his answer.

Slowly, Kuroo brought his right hand to rest in his chest where his heart would be, then his other hand was slightly on his side, and a strange light suddenly shined down on him. Kuroo smiled, “I’ve always been a nice person.”

The look Hinata, Aoyuki and Tsukishima made Kuroo’s eye twitch. “You don’t have to look at me like that...” He then looked to the side and started rubbing the back of his head somewhat embarassedly. “I want to make the Battle at the Garbage Dump a reality.”

At the mention of ‘Battle of the Garbage Dump’, Tsukishima and Hinata visibly perked up, obviously knowing what it’s all about. Aoyuki on the other hand continued to stare questioningly at Kuroo. For now, I’ll just listen to bedhead-senpai go all sentimental.

“It’s what our coach wants more than anything. But who knows how much longer our coach is going to continue coaching? So because of that, we need to keep you guys winning too.” Kuroo looked back at the people in front of him, raising his eyebrows. “Well, it’s practice to me, as well. So don’t sweat the small details.”

Aoyuki hummed, “So when it comes down to it, you’re just helping us because we’re weak.”

“Is that what it looked like to you, Ribbon-chan?” Kuroo smirked, “Well, that’s the case when it comes to the guys. But with you, it’s different.”

“Oh? How so?” Aoyuki raised a brow, tilting her head to the side.

“I’m not teaching you because you’re weak.” Kuroo gave her his usual scheming smile. “I’m teaching you because I can’t let your ridiculous talent go to waste.”

Tsukishima deadpanned. “You’re just awfully biased.”

Kuroo chuckled, shaking his head. He then pointed towards the court. “Okay, enough talking. Break time is over so get your asses over there.”

Owls: 9 l 7 l Crows: 10

Aoyuki tossed the ball into the air, took a few steps and jumped, she swung her arm and spiked. Hinata let out a small grunt once the ball smacked into his wrists. He was ready for the intense serve, but every time the power of the spike hit him he’d still be caught off guard. Hinata received the ball, but it was off.

Akaashi scrambled to set the ball to Bokuto, cursing once he did so and it was off too. “Sorry, it’s a bit short!”

Aoyuki put both her hands on her knees, eyes glued towards Bokuto who started running towards the net. She heard Kuroo’s voice from the sidelines.

“Surround him, spread out the block!”

Tsukishima and Lev both jumped to block as same as Bokuto who’s smile twitched once finding out that he will definitely got blocked.
