Chapter 39

Standing in Wall Sina ready to talk to the other commanders, we get off our horses, as for Erwin he goes inside to prepare the meeting.

A few medics rush over to me checking me over and putting me on a cart, Levi takes my hand and says "I can't come with you, I still have to give out orders in the mean time try to get better while we sort this out" I reply "If you die I'm going to punch your face in the afterlife" Levi smirks and kisses my cheek "You're my main concern of dying, just try to stay alive while they get the rest of the bullet pieces out".

The medics lead the cart off with me in it as I watch Levi disappear from view.

[Levi's POV]
I see Historia and say "Historia, there is something we all need you to do" she asks "What is it?" cadets start to crowd us, I say "By Erwin's orders you must become Queen" Historia nods then they head to the meeting.

[Y/n's POV]
Two medics are on either side of me helping me to the surgery room but all I can think of is Levi's safety.

I make it to the room and they lay me on a hospital bed, but something flashes my vision.

The Tantrum Titan...

Right... The pain is unsure whether I should transform for protection or let this play out, I've been fighting transforming into a titan for a while now and it's getting a little bit harder...

I spot a little bit of lighting in my wound and look around for the doctor frantically, I hold my wound and whisper to myself "Everything's okay... Shhh, everything's fine..."

My vision clouds over and I see my titan self shouting in bars like it's trapped from being held in for so long. It screams and shouts but I can't understand it.

I come back to reality and sigh, the doctors and nurses enter the room with their gear prepared.

[Levi's POV]
After the meeting at night I make my way to the medical center to visit my Y/n.

After taking to some nurses who were blushing and swooning I head to Y/n's house after hearing she had just had surgery hours ago and was sent home.

When I make it to her house, her Mum immediately let's me in and I make my way to Y/n's bedroom to find her weak body in her bed.

I ask "How are you feeling?" She replies softly "Alright... Just tired, but the medication makes me feel zero pain..." I walk over and brush some of her hair out of her eyes.

She says "Erwin visited me in the hospital and I only just noticed his right arm is gone, what has been happening lately? " I kiss her forehead.

She pulls at my jacket and says "Why is Ymir gone?" My eyes tear up seeing her like this, I say "Ymir sacrificed herself for Historia and for the rest of us, you weren't there, I told you to stay with the rest of the squads at HQ to work, but with all the weeks I told you to stay at HQ with everyone else, alot happened in the back".

She asks "What.. happened?", I reply "I've killed many people and done many bad things in the past to survive, and I've had to kill our own kind to survive today", She takes my hand and says "You did it to survive, so I'm not angry at you for that, it's just, I've missed out on so many important events and I couldn't be there with you".

I squeeze her hand gently and say "I would've hated for you to witness it, I have to go and set up the explosives for our plan, I'll see you tomorrow hopefully" I kiss her forehead and head out.
