Chapter 10

I hold onto Annie's waist as she rides the horse, we stay behind everyone else so she can talk to me.

"Have you thought about my offer
Y/N?", She asks, I look at her with question, she must have seen me look at her in that way because she clears her throat to speak.

"My offer with Reiner, Bertholt, Ymir and I, will you come with us? Come with me and live in freedom, by my side you'll be safe", she says looking back at me for a while before continuing to face the front.

I notice Mikasa and Eren looking at us suspiciously not far from us.

I rest my head on her back and say, "I haven't decided yet", in a whisper, when Annie speaks again her voice is soft as if she's noticed Eren's short gaze.

"Make up your mind soon we have a plan that needs to take place", I nod at her answer but before she could speed the horse to join the others I tug on her jacket making her go slow again.

"Y/N?", she says, I snuggle myself closer to her and say, "Do you really think we will be safe out here? I mean how long do I have until I give you an answer?", I ask, Annie sighs, "You have three days to answer, we are going to see if Eren will join us since he's a titan shifter too", she says.

I close my eyes when she sped up seeing if I can rest a little then a voice catches my attention, I slowly open my eyes to see Levi in front of everyone, "It's time to rest", he tells the cadets pointing to a nearby place where massive fallen branches stick up like a hut on the ground.

~(A few minutes later)~
Once we all had a bit of lunch we all relax and stretch.

Everything is peaceful except for the few titans here and there that the cadets kill nearby.

I see everyone sitting and chatting especially Eren who seems to be whispering rumors around.

I sigh and walk down a hill near the hut and find a lake, it sparkles in the sunlight, I marvel at its beauty.

I take a rock from the grass and try to shoot it across the lake it doesn't make it far, I sigh and take another but as I try and throw it, it cuts my hand making me drop it I wince in pain.

~(Annie's POV)~
I took a swing of water from my water flask when the ground rumbles and the sky turns yellow, 'Eren?', I thought, I turn my gaze to the hut and see him standing there in shock with Armin and Mikasa.

I frantically look around the hut to see Reiner, Ymir and Bertholt still in human forms, 'Then who?' I ask myself worriedly.

Everyone is holding onto something when a blood curdling screech thunders across the planes of grass.

Levi is the first of us to run outside and find the problem.

There it is, I stand beside Bertholt and Reiner outside.

A titan with thousands of strings of skin holding her mouth together and has a striking resemblance to someone I know then it hit me... Where is Y/N?...

The titan let go another eagle-like screech as she smashes the trees in her way and demolishes everything in sight.

The ground rumbles with every foot step she takes nearby and every screech makes us feel like cornered mice.

All of us stare at the titan in shock, all the titans that haven't been killed nearby are steering clear of her.

"That's a titan shifter", Reiner crosses his arms, I gaze at the titans H/C hair and that's when my jaw drops, "Y/N?", I say, Ymir and Bertholt are staring at me now that I've got their attention.

From the corner of my eye I see Erwin completely calm talking to Levi who looks like he's bottling up shock and suprise.

Levi starts freefreshing his blades and refilling the gas, I need to get to Y/N before he does something stupid.

"Jeager I need you to turn into a titan and control her, we can't have a that thing throw a tantrum it brings trouble", Levi says before slipping in new gas cylinders into his gear.

"W-wait! Let me take care of this", I step in, Levi gives me a questioning look, I clear my throat and say, "Let me take care of it", Levi stands up his eyes burning holes into me.

"No", he says bluntly, he attaches blades to the handles of the 3DMG and before I knew it Eren transformed.

A roar escape from him and I knew this was going to be bad.

I can't just fly over to Y/N while she's in titan form she'll crush me with the tantrum she's having.

But I can't transform right here when everything is going to go down but they are my only too options.

I had to go with the option that wouldn't kill me on the spot... I have to transform to save Y/N from Eren and Levi before they kill her...
