Chapter 37

We all hear an explosion far in the Chapel walls, Kenny takes my hand and pulls me down the steps, I struggle and shout "Let me go!" but suprisingly he's stronger than Levi.

Eren growls in his mouth piece leaning towards us, Rod asks "Kenny, what are you planning?" Kenny smirks and says "Levi must be missing his girlfriend" Rod retorts "That's a horrible idea, we have just gotten another titan shifter that's even stronger than Eren and you want to loose her?"

Kenny stops and dangles me in the air and says "Let me have some fun would you" and leaves with me.

Kenny prepares his gun gear and attaches himself to a pillar in the battle ground, Kenny holds me so I don't fall and scans his gaze over the fight and the black smoke on the floor.

Then his smirk returns when he spots Levi flying around attacking the enemy, Kenny says "Look at your boyfriend girl, look at him, mercilessly killing his own kind. What makes you think he hasn't done it in the past?"

My eyes are wide but I say "N-No, there is a reason he is doing this!" Kenny replies "What is the reason then?" I say "To save Eren" He chuckles and says "You're too innocent girl, you are stubborn sure but...To innocent, you remind me of Levi when he was a kid, weak!" I growl "What's that supposed to mean?"

Kenny replies "You believe everyone can be saved, you even tried to sacrifice yourself to save everyone else. But what happens when a titan stronger than ever imagined breaks through those walls and challenges you?" I say "Then I'll fight!"

He look at me for a moment with a expression that I can't describe but I know that it must have a message of 'predictable'.

His gaze then shoots to Levi about to attack a blonde girl, Kenny holds tightly onto me and flies over taking a shot in Levi direction only just missing.

Levi's angry gaze turns towards us and Kenny attaches himself to another pillar, Levi lands near us looking up at Kenny.

Kenny says "Yo, Levi, look what I have" Kenny shows me off by staring at me and pointing his gun at me, Levi's composure almost breaks before he returns cold once again and shouts "Kenny!"

Levi was about to make a move but Kenny shoves his gun to the side of my head and cocks it ready for launch. Tears form in my eyes scared of death, Levi shouts "Kenny! Rod Reiss is going to kill everyone!"

Kenny replies "It doesn't matter to me, what matters is messing with you little Levi" Levi grits his teeth, I know it's a bad move but I do it anyway, I punch Kenny in the chin and take his gun hand, moving it to the floor.

Kenny snaps "You bitch!" and let's go of me, making me fall into the black smoke. Levi launches after me, strength surging in his veins and catches me.

Levi tries to fly towards a pillar but he messes but from being to close to the ground and we tumble across the floor, I'm stuck in his arms as he tries to protect me from being dragged across the ground.

When we stop he huffs and puffs with dirt and scratches on his face. I sit up and say "Come on-we have to save Eren!" I get off him and start heading towards the way originally Kenny and I came from.

Levi gets to his feet and runs after me, he grabs my hand and pulls me back, I gasp when I see two bullets fly into the ground before me.

Kenny falls down onto the ground landing on his feet and says "You don't get your girl back that easily" Levi whispers in my ear "Go back to Eren" before ripping out his blades.

I watch as Y/n obeys and runs off, Kenny follows my gaze and says "That's where she needs to be anyway, now let's talk, Levi" I grit my teeth after what he said and charge after him with my blades, Kenny darts into the sky and I follow after him.
