Levi x Reader (Humanity's Strongest x Humanity's Weakest)

Chapter 28

(Y/N's POV)
I stand outside HQ with a nervous Jean, an angry Levi holding him by the back collar of his shirt.

Hanji is standing there grinning in delight and excitement, Erwin has a hand on a speechless Eren's shoulder.

Levi growls, "Have something you want to say brat?", Jean sweat drops and he says, "I-I'm sorry Y/N for forcing you into a deal".

Levi forces Jean down so he can say into Jean's ear, "What else?", Jean says, "I'm also going to sleep with my cousins tonight as punishment", Levi chuckles to himself at making Jean say that.

Even Eren started to have a bit of a laugh, a smile spreads on my lips as I say, "It's alright Jean, but how did you guys find out?", Hanji steps in giggling and says, "The look on your face when Jean was going to kiss you told me everything not to mention I was spying on you and Jean at the crates but I wasn't sure if it was true or not".

She jumps up and down in victory and says, "Once I got proof I told Levi to get you out of this mess Y/N!", I smile brightly and say, "Thank you so much Hanji but I am sorry I couldn't go through with the deal Jean".

He shakes his head wildly and says, "It's okay Y/N!", quickly, Levi let's him go and Jean scrambles and runs away from the scene.

Eren approaches me with a blush on his face, "So...", he says, I put a hand on my hip and say, "So?", then Levi cuts in, "Y/N, we need to train that titan form of yours", I nod and obey getting to leave and set up in the grassy field.

Once everyone got their gear together and Levi was all set up we got ready.

Eren smiles at me and Levi rests a firm hand on my shoulder and says, "Remember I'm here to protect you and you have the strength to protect yourself when I'm not around", I was surprised at his words he nods for me to turn into a titan.

He backs away a clear distance, I turn into a titan right after Eren.

My vision tries to go blank again but I force the white void away with determination, I get flashes of vision through my titans eyes and in one flash I see Eren can see my struggle.

Then a voice creeps in, "Y/N... Keep fighting, push away the past just like I did with the people I lost, look around you", Levi says softly.

My vision flicks again I see Levi staring deeply into my eyes as he stands on the bridge of my nose.

He moves out of the way a bit and I turn my head looking around, I see Eren, I see a worried looking Historia, a Ymir looking at me with pride, Jean is shyly looking at me scratching the back of his neck, Hanji is drooling at my titan figure, everyone inside HQ is at the windows some cheering for me to come back to reality.

Then finally my eyes fall onto Erwin, the father figure he was to me when my real father was afraid of me, the one person who told me being scared was okay, the person who treated me as if I was his own daughter.

He gives me an encouraging smile, then with one last flicker of vision my eyes grow clouded, I see Annie in the crystal, her voice is like silk, she says, "Y/N, I am so proud of you, its time for you to let go and move forward with your life, now go and show me how strong you've gotten over these last few years..."

The village me and Annie grew up in flashes to mind. The tears I shed when  I fell out of a tree and had many miniature cuts on my arms and Annie came to aid them with plasters. The time when we made a flower crown, picked tomatoes. The first time we joined the trainees, I forced Annie to give me a piggy back luckily she didn't mind.

We would spend every night at the dinner table with me resting on her shoulder while eating dinner, at my house I couldn't sleep without her in the same room so I would hold her hand while she sat next to me, I feel my heart ache with sadness and missing.

Then the final memory arrived, it was night, the stars scattered in the sky, the look of love and care in Annie's eyes, the air blew ever so gently, outside HQ is where we stand a day before going to re-close wall Maria.

Annie told me she was afraid something would happen to me, it frightened her more because she knew it was most likely I wouldn't be in her group to keep me safe.

The scene around us is so silent and calm.

Annie leans in...

Faces inches from each others....

My heart skips a beat.....

Then her warm lips meet mine smooth and gentle...

My vision comes back and I pull myself together, I scream her name my eyes pouring with water, Eren was about to stop me afraid I lost control but I stand proudly and still.

Levi breathes out and in relief and happiness leaving him, he didn't even realize he was holding his breath his chest huffing and puffing.

"Y/N! You did it! I'm so proud of you Cadet!", he cheers the emotion from him takes me by suprise he notices and says, "I-I uh, right Cadet, you did good", he coughs into his fist awkwardly.

I pick him up off my face and let him sit in my hand, I then set him on the grass and Levi yells up to Eren, "It's finished! You can turn back!"

Eren nods and we leave our titan bodies.

When I enter HQ all the cadets I know surround me and cheer me on, they pick me up making me laugh from all the attention.

(Levi's POV)
Erwin stands beside me watching Y/N getting whisked away by the massive group of cadets.

He mocks teasingly, "Y/N, you did it, I'm so proud of you Cadet", he bursts out chuckling to himself even Hanji's giggling, I roll my eyes and say, "Have you're fun you two I'm going to bed".

Hanji yells out to him, "If you want her you are gonna have to act more nicer shorty!", Erwin and her burst out laughing in the hall leaning on eachother for support.

I faintly hear Erwin say when I turn a corner, "I'm going to cry this is too halirious" and Hanji going, "Humanity's Strongest and Humanity's Weakest they swapped titles for a sec!"

I can't help but 'tch' and continue walking to my bedroom.

(This Chapter was to try and make up for the time I spent doing something else than the fanfic, so yeah I posted two new chapters hope you enjoy👍)
