Levi x Reader (Humanity's Strongest x Humanity's Weakest)

Chapter 6

The Female Titan stood in the fields staring at Levi and I, I clutched onto Levi's shirt staring back at it.

The sun have fully rosen and not many titans were in sight which was strange...

"Y/N, stay here, I need to go see Erwin right away, I'll come back for you", Levi says taking my hands off him and running downstairs.

I walk slowly towards the edge of the castle roof and watch the Female Titan, it slowly turns its body to face me its expression filled with wonder?

I gasp in fright when the titan starts running towards the castle, my heart leaps into my throat but just before the titan could grab me Ymir slashes the female titans fingers only to have her blade shatter.

The female titan had hardened her fingers leaving them in a protective crystalized shell.

Ymir looks back at me with wide eyes to find a many small cuts across my face and cuts in my jacket.

~Levi's POV~
I rush down the steps and run towards Erwin, "The Female Titan is here", and just like that the ground thumps both me and Erwin look out the window to see the titan running towards the castle.

Our eyes smack open wide but the castle didn't come down, the cadets, Erwin and I grab out gear and run outside to see the Female Titan glaring at Ymir and Y/N.

I clench my blade as the silence falls over the entire place.

The Female Titan made no move then with a jolt she kicked the castle and attempted to kick us.

When the castle fell dust flew everywhere and the Female Titan had Y/N in her hand, Y/N was too afraid to yell she was frozen in fear.

I growl and sprung into the air with my 3DMG and hook onto the Female Titan, I acted without thinking properly and the titan grabbed my line.

I realized my mistake and ended up tossed to a nearby tree which I hooked onto to stop me from getting hit.

The rest of the cadets tried to attack but the Female Titan dodged and flung cadets to their deaths or to get severely injured.

I tried once again to help but the Female Titan was already off, sprinting to a nearby forest with Y/N captured.

I growl once again and jump to the ground the cadets were murmuring and some where helping the wounded and crying.

I made a beeline straight for the Jeager boy and grab his shoulders, "Jeager brat! Get that Female Titan!", I couldn't help but burst, Eren is shocked by my sudden outburst, "Don't just stand there shift into a titan! That's an order!", I say, Erwin gently places a hand on my shoulder.

"We can't go head on without our supplies", he says, I turn to him and say with disbelief, "Are you saying we go back to HQ which took us days to get here and get supplies, Y/N could already be dead", Erwin shakes his head in a 'no', "What I'm saying is we find those horses and those carts, then we get her", he says and I stop in my tracks surprised.

~Y/N POV~
I breath heavily is fear as the Female Titan runs endlessly pass trees, I say even though it probably doesn't understand me, "W-Where are we going?", I was afraid she might be planning to eat me if I asked but it was the only courage I had hoping it have an answer.

The Female Titans gaze flicked to me making me jump slightly in her grasp, her expression is emotionless but it makes me think maybe she does understand me.

Finally she comes to a stop and places me in a high tree, I look down at her with question and her body turned lifeless as boiling steam left her now corpse, my eyes widen when a person with blonde hair breaks out of the nape of the neck.

Annie...?

Annie still wore her 3DMG, once she got out of the neck she swung up to me and landed on the branch, she seated herself next to me and the entire forest engulfed in silence.

"A-Annie? What just happened to everything?", I ask my brain drawing a blank to all of the events.

Annie turns to me she cups my cheeks, "You really got hurt didn't you?", she asks, I remembered the cuts and they started to sting, "They are like paper cuts", I wince, Annie sighs and says, "I know you are wondering why I kidnapped you".

I slowly nod, she continues, "I want us to live in freedom and go wherever we like without the rest of humanity getting in the way", I take her hands on my cheeks and say, "Won't that risk getting eaten by titans Annie?", I ask worried for her.

"Not as long as I'm a titan shifter, me, Reiner, Bertholt, and Ymir are working together to get rid of Humanity and be free", she says giving me a small smile, "I hope you will join us", she finishes, I suddenly remembered, "Why did you join the Survey Corps? I thought you wanted to be Military Police?", I ask Annie, she puts her forehead against mine closing her eyes and says, "I wanted to make sure you were safe".

I can't help but smile at her words, but I still felt cautious about being in the forest outside the walls, "Annie, can titans reach us from up here?", I ask holding onto her arm worried, she  hugs me and caresses my hair, "No, they aren't tall enough for these trees", we sit in silence for a bit before I ask, "What will you do if Levi and the others arrive?", Annie says, "I only kidnapped you to ask you if you wanted freedom with me and the rest of us, it's something for you to think about", I nod and lay in her arms for a little while longer...
