Levi x Reader (Humanity's Strongest x Humanity's Weakest)

Chapter 33

The room is silent, I had to say anything to protect Eren. We may be arrested for abuse of titan shifting power but if the King finds out that Grisha gave me the syrum and murdered people his attention might be to execute Eren for taking it as well.

"She's a liar!", my father says at the enterence of the room. I have to think quick. "I had a cold, you took me to a regular doctor, not Grisha", I reply.

My father growls then holds up a piece of paper handing it to the King, the King says, "Y/N, you have taken the syrum, committed murder twice, broke into one of Sina's Districts. To the eyes of humanity you are an enemy and must be executed."

Fear shoots my heart, I remain calm. Eren has more experience in titan form, if anyone should be the one to be executed then it should be me.

Kenny was about to move to grab me but Levi jumps over and covers me with his body, his hands still tied.

"Don't touch her!", Levi shouts, "DON'T TAKE HER FROM ME!"

Erwin yells at Levi, "STOP IT LEVI!", Levi is pushed off me and Kenny grabs my wrist, Levi bites my sleeve trying to make me stay but its no use, Kenny kicks Levi off me.

At this point I try my hardest not to cry. Kenny lifts me to my feet forcefully and leads me out by the shoulders roughly.

(Levi's POV)
I can feel the bruise on my cheek. I refuse to loose anymore family. I struggle desperately in my binds and try to get up to run after her but I am held down by a Military Soldier.

"YYY/NNN!", I shout, Erwin yells again, "LEVI! Enough! She's gone, let it go..", I can tell by Erwin's voice crack he's hurt as well, he's loosing family now just like me once again.

The King stands to his feet getting help from a nearby soldier. The King says, "Levi and Erwin you will be thrown into prison until we decide what to do with you, dismissed!"

I get thrown into prison with Erwin and shout at the guards but Erwin slaps me into reality.

"WAKE UP!", Erwin yells, I stare at him in shock. We are now tied with our hands in front of us and a little bit of loose chain to move our wrists.

Erwin calms himself and says, "Levi, pull yourself together, she's gone. She lied to save something and we are in prison with her on a deadline. We can't do anything."

I fall to the floor on the hay inside the prison and rest my face in my hands letting the tears pour.

Erwin rubs my back to comfort me when a female voice breaks the silence,"U-um..."

I shoot up and look beside me to see in the prison cell next to me is Y/N with a tear stained face.

I trip over myself to get closer to her and grab onto the the metal bars to her cell.

My voice breaks out, "Y/N! Why did you lie! Why did you do this!?" she breaks into tears.

Erwin joins my side and asks, "Why did you lie?"

(Y/N's POV)
I wipe my tears coughing and say, "I couldn't let Eren die with me for using titan power, he's my friend too! I had to lie about finding the syrum otherwise they will know about Grisha giving it to us! It will make everything worse!"

Erwin says, "But what about the people you killed was that a lie too?", I gasp for air and stutter, "T-that was true, the two people I killed were apart of my family they possed titan power".

Levi remains silent, I ask worriedly, "Levi?" he doesn't answer he stands up and falls back to the hay with a shadow over his face.

Erwin pats my hand through the bars and says, "He needs time to process, at the moment... Get some rest", I couldn't really see Erwin's face until he looked up with a expression trying to hold the pain in, it doesn't really help him when the tears are already pouring out of his eyes.

I nod slowly and go to lie down to bed. It is a big day tomorrow I wonder how the others are doing...
