Chapter 14

"You're in a happy mood", Levi says wiping the sweat off his forehead from training.

"Yeah, I am, I can finally visit my parents after so long!", I jump in excitement, he rolls his eyes and says,

"Alright enough yappering get in your combat stance".

I do as he says and wait patiently for him to say when to go.

A fist gets thrown near my face, I mange to dodge it in fright before getting my legs swept from Levi's leg.

I fall into the dust and cough, "Captain! You didn't even give me a head start!", I yell.

Levi drinks his bottle of water and says, "There won't always be a head start, get up!", he replies angrily.

I get up and lunge at him, he moves out of the way and takes my arm putting it behind me, I wince in pain.

"H-how am I supposed to beat you when you're humanity's strongest?", I stutter through the agony of my twisted arm.

He moves his head so it's at my level and says, "The whole point of this training is so you can get better and maybe surpace me in the future to come", he let's my arm go.

I attempt to kick him in the face, he ducks and accidently grabs me thigh but he doesn't seem phased by it.

"You suck sometimes Levi", I give him my innocent eyes, he stares straight through, I attempt to kick him in the manhood with my other leg while he is distracted but I fail miserably.

He catches my ankle and lifts it up tipping me over, back on the ground.

He stands over me unamused and sits on my waist pinning my hands, "I don't think I suck Y/N, I'm certain you do at this training".

I struggle in his grasp trying to ignore the fact Levi was sitting around my waist.

I growl, "I'll prove to you I'm not humanity's weakest!", I move my legs desperately underneath him to find a way out of this mess.

"How so cadet?", he grows amused, I give him an angry look before starting to giggle my face turning red from blushing.

"Have you gone mental?", he asks confused holding my wrists tighter, I try to look at him straight in the eyes but I can't, I can't stop laughing.

"Cadet! What are you laughing at!?", he yells bringing his face inches from mine angrily.

"Levi I assure you it's nothing!", I laugh through my sentence, I felt him move and apart of him push on my waist, I blush harder.
He says, "Cadet! Tell me it's abviously something your captain should know about!".

I giggle one more time before I say, "Levi... You have...", I whisper in his ear the rest.

He shoots up when I finish and gets off me in a hurry.

I laugh once again on the ground and his face turns a faint pink as he turns himself from me.

"Cadet! I assure you I have no feelings for you!", he yells, I lay on my stomach at look up at him and grin. "Sure Captian, now go clean yourself up", I chuckle burying my face in my hands.

I hear him growl and stomp away.

~(Levi's POV)~
I cover my obvious bulge with my towel I used to wipe my sweat off and head to my office only to be stopped by the Jeager brat.

"Captain! Have you seen Y/N?", he salutes.
I scoff and say, "What's your business with her?" Eren rubs the back of his neck nervously.

'That Y/N is making me feel things and it's not really my cup of tea at the moment especially when I have a feeling arrising in me to snap Jeager neck for mentioning to see her with unknown business', I thought.

Eren finally speaks up, "Nevermind it's not important, I'll talk to her later" he finishes and runs away.

I walk down the hall in HQ entering my office to find Erwin there setting a bunch of papers on my desk.

"Ah, Levi, finally I wanted to discuss about you relationship with Cadet
Y/N", Erwin says, I wince feeling something grow behind my towel.

"Perhaps another time!", I try to tell him the message to get out.

Erwin looks at me up and down and his face turns to suprise in realization.

"Y/N made you... I understand I will leave immediately!", he almost runs to the exit of my office.

He stops at the door frame and says, "Oh! Make sure you take good care of her!", before closing the door and leaving.

~(Y/N's POV)~
I skip down the halls after dinner to my room and jump on Annie's bed snuggling into it.

"Hehe~ she'd never have let me done this", I giggle a little before falling to silence.

A sad feeling creeps into my heart and I grip onto the sheets.

"Annie...", I whisper sadly to myself, 'Ever since we have come back to HQ and Annie has been shifted away I've been trying my hardest to train and be strong for her. One day I will make her proud and get over my fears', I thought hugging her pillow.

I look at her bed side table and out of curiosity I open it up to find a drawn picture I did very accurately of us.

It's old but stays in good shape, I originally gave it to her when we first came to the Survey Corps.

I sigh and put the picture back.

I grab my drawing pad from my own night stand and lay back down on Annie's bed.

I hold up the sketch pad and look through it.

Pictures of a pony, flowers, landscapes, people and my eyes fall onto the picture I did that Jean tried steal.

I examine it closely, "Levi...?", I say out loud, I tiredly rub my eyes, "I must've drew Levi by accident", I blush, a knock is heard on my door.

"Come in", I say almost weakly, Eren enters, "Oh hi Eren, is there something you need?", I sit up on Annie's bed yawning.

Eren smiles at my tired figure and says, "Y/N, I was just wondering if you wanted to hang out more often since Annie's gone, I don't want you to be lonely".

"Aww that's really sweet Eren, I would love to", I say giving him a sweet smile, he sees me yawn again and approaches the bed.

"Eren?", I ask unsure of what's happening, he picks me up bridal style like I'm nothing and places me in my bed.

"I know I'm not Annie and I can never replace her but I want you to know I'm here for you", he tucks me in and kisses my forehead.

Then his face turns red when he realizes what he's doing and stands up straight, "A-anyways goodnight Y/N", he waves to me before leaving the room closing the door behind him.
