Chapter 35

[Y/N's POV]
I wake up on the cold floor once again of the prison cell. It seems I woke up just in time for a prison guard to escort me out, I look back and see Levi still sitting there silently in his own cell while Erwin stayed asleep.

I am forced on my knees before the King. A Military Solider says "We have found proof of records you murdered Chris and Jeanette Barrows, you will be hanged this evening Miss L/N" I stand up in defence and say, "My King, why is it you mention my murders now, why not when you first found out?"

The King's eyes widen in suprise.

[Hanji's POV]
I stare at the message in my hands.

I look at the seven of us left of the Survey Corps that haven't been captured and say "Wall Sina thinks they have made Checkmate, they have captured Levi, Erwin and Y/N and the message says we are still being hunted but I found something worse.."

Armin raises a hand and asks "What is it Hanji?" I struggle to hold the paper in my hands and say "Word is said Y/N is to be hanged this evening and we are no where near getting to the Reiss family hideout or stopping this brain washed King!" I fall to my knees in the grass holding my head in stress and fear.

Historia rubs my back to comfort me and I can't help but break out in tears. Eren stands his ground, slashes his blade across the grass and says "We are going to rescue Y/N and the Captains that is what we need to do now and we can worry about Wall Maria re-opening later as well" Connie gulps and says "Are there titans still roaming Wall Maria!?" I nod slowly.

Historia says "Hey! We may be on a losing streak but we shouldn't give up! Eren's right, we need to save the Captains and Y/N because they are our muscle!" she raises her blade in the air and everyone else agrees and cheers.

[Levi's POV]
"Levi, I order you to stop ignoring
Y/N! She's going to die for god sake!" Erwin slams my back into the prison bars. I grunt and push him off with force, "Y/N chose that damn Jeager brat over her own life! I have the right to ignore her!"

Erwin backs off and says "You don't want her to die because you love her am I right?" my heart thumps like a thunder storm and I am the one to slam him into the bars and yell "OF COURSE I LOVE HER! I DON'T CARE IF SHE'S A TITAN SHIFTER! I DON'T CARE IF SHE HAS A SHITTY FATHER! I LOVE HER! I WANT HER TO LIVE!"

Erwin cries and says "She's a good person if you want her to live then do what you do best and be her Humanity's Strongest and let's save her and escape!"

[The King's POV]
I sit there astonished at Y/N's protest and stutter "I... I don't exactly know why... My brain is... I remember you being a nice girl" the soldier next to me steps in and growls "That's enough my King!"

Leon says "My daughter, Y/N L/N, is a blood thirsty murderer and deserves hanging just like you said!"

Another Military Soldier steps in and says "Wait a minute, L/N? Y/N L/N? Your daughters the best friend of Annie Lionheart!" another Solider steps in and says "We have heard about Y/N! She was always spoken of in Wall Sina and from Annie as a good person if anyone deserves hanging it's you Leon!" half the room of soldiers start shouting at Leon while the other half was protesting against it.

In my daze of a headache I glimpse at Y/N and see her with a pleading expression. What am I doing?

[Y/N's POV]
I try to plead the King with my eyes through the chaos then a commander bursts into the room and yells "WALL SINA HAS BEEN BREACHED!" Levi and Erwin and thrown on either side of me and we watch as the soldiers start thinking of themselves and saving only themselves of Wall Sina from the titans.

Erwin gives me a smirk and I catch on, it's a diversion. The entire scene plays out (I am so sorry but I don't really remember how the scene went with the diversion it's been a very long time since I've seen it but let's just say Levi and Erwin were released for saying true cruel facts about the Military to the King and the King finally got sense to say okay you can leave stop Nit Picking at eachother) but it seems both Levi and Erwin are free from judgement from the diversion and the Survey Corps are free when Pixis enters the room and explains however... I'm not free...

Levi and Erwin are unchained and the room has settled, Levi makes his way to me as quick as he can and cups my face in his hands he whispers "You'll be safe okay, I'll return when this Reiss thing is over" Levi kisses my cheek and runs off with Erwin.

I sit before the King and he says "Your hanging has been delayed for two days" I stare at him and the King gives me no emotion while the other three Military soldiers that were trying to defend me give me a few thumbs up.

I give a determined smile and stand strongly, I say "Well what are you soldiers waiting for? Take me to my cell please", one of the guards grumbles and takes me away.

I sit in my cell when the three Military Soldiers arrive two of them are woman while the other is Male. The first woman says "Annie was a wonderful person, she may have been distant and cold but I knew something or someone was keeping her sane from those titans".

The other two nod in agreement. I ask politely "Thank you for speaking up at the throne room but I have to ask, what do you three need?" the woman nudge the male and he steps up and says "More like what do you need, we are going to bust you out! Look we aren't a fan of the Survey Corps but we are fans of Annie's friends especially a woman she loved, we would be happy to help".

I ask "Wait, but what would the King? What will he do to you three if he finds out you busted me out" they shift awkwardly and the second woman says "We will be fine don't worry, as long as you are free we will be delighted, we just have to worry about the guards and the other Military Police".

I nod and stand "Please, then I ask you, bust me out" the three cheer in happiness.
