Chapter 24

I'm running as fast as I can, he's going to catch me I just know it, I feel the fear rising in my chest, he's inching closer and closer every second.

My heart pumps exhaustedly.

My chest heaves heavily.

And... SMACK!

I'm on the ground after tripping over a branch outside HQ, a massive hand picks me up bringing me to his face, those blue eyes stare at me in victory his voice is a mumbled growl as he says, "Got... You..."

Armin flys onto the hand that has me entangled in the fingers, Armin laughs, "Eren Tag is fun!", he says with a big smile.

I look at titan Eren and say, "It's fun but it's scary", I say wiping the tears that built up from my eyes, Mikasa lands on Eren's shoulder giggling before she says, "Eren stop you're scaring Y/N with how fast you chase her", Eren holds me properly in his hand and sets me carefully on the ground.

Hanji teleports out of nowhere and gives my arm a death tightening hug and whispers excitedly in my ear, "Experiments...!"

I gulp and Hanji looks at Eren shouting, "You too!"

~Hanji's Lab~
I'm so scared... I'm strapped to a dissection table...

Hanji skips over to me with a scalpel and a crazed look in her eyes, I was just about to scream when she puts the scalpel down near my arm.

Turns out she isn't going to use it...

She pulls out a massive needle from out of nowhere, "U-uh so Hanji! What are you experimenting for!?", I yelp worriedly, she smiles at me and says, "I just need a blood sample, I will experiment with that for today and you'll be free to go, as for Eren..."

She slowly turns to the other side of the room I follow her gaze to Eren who has many sharp objects around him and is struggling in his chains frantically.

My face grows pale at the sight.

Hanji turns back to me and slips a rope-like thing around my upper arm tightening it to the point I think my arms going to pop.

She struggles with the rope for a bit before she's satisfied and bring the needle to the vein in my arm that is most visible.

She says, "Are you going to ask Levi out Y/N?", she's giggling like a fangirl, I stutter, "W-what!? He's my Captain!", I blush furiously, Hanji pokes the needle in my arms taking the blood, she says, "Like I told you, I think it was back at the castle reck, it doesn't matter if he's you're Captain you love him and I can see it", she looks at me with a big grin.

I tumble over my words, "W-well I mean he is h-hot and strong and s-smart-"

"Well it's nice to know how you feel about your Captain", that voice catches me off guard my eyes dart to the door and to my relief it's just Erwin.

I look over at Eren and see he's stopped struggling, he seems limp and kind of sad.

Hanji looks over at him a wash of realisation hitting us both.

How can I be so dumb why didn't I see Eren have feelings for me?

I ask myself feeling bad for him hearing that it must have hurt him...

Erwin smiles and unstraps me from the dissection table, he says, "We need you to control that titan form of yours."

~Outside HQ~
Back again to train my titan self into control, Eren stands in front of me with a determined look.

"Eren are you okay?", I ask awkwardly, he nods and says with a bit of sharpness, "I'm fine..."

Erwin nods at Eren to transform, he does so and I transform after him.

Again my mind tries to go else where but I try to stay focused, it's so hard to focus though my mind doesn't want to obey...

~(Levi's POV)~
I watch as Y/N's titan eyes fade to a dull color, she's loosing focus...

I see Eren sprint and punch Y/N in the jaw breaking the muscles on the side holding her jaw up, "EREN YOU IDIOT! WHAT ARE YOU DOING?", I yell at the Rouge Titan.

Eren punches her in the stomach and Y/N's eyes flash, a glint of a murderous titan shines through her pupils.

"JEAGER GET BACK!", I yell again, Eren refuses to listen and tries to kick her, she grabs his leg and throws him down, her broken mouth opens the sound of flesh tearing as she does so.

Her snake-like fangs break through her canines, her canine teeth that were once there shattering in shards scattering across the grass like sharp rocks.

She roars and sinks her teeth into Erens chest tearing his flesh off in big amounts consuming every bit, blood painting her skin.

A grousome sight to witness as she tears out a rib bone that was sticking out of Erens chest.

I have to do something

I strap on my gear tightly taking quick glances seeing Eren trying to fight back.

I fly over and attach to Y/N's nape cutting out the flesh that hides her, Y/N's titan body smacks me off, Eren shoves Y/N onto the ground.

Eren struggles but manages to flip her onto her stomach, he leans down to her nape.

Y/N thrashes and Eren rips off her arms holding her down by her waist.

She let's go a horrified roar, almost as if she was feeling fear, she tries to kick him from behind but he grabs her legs and tears them off too.

"EREN! DON'T KILL HER YOU IDIOT!", I yell flying around him.

Her eyes continue to cry whenever she's in titan form, a flood of tears that never seem to stop but in this situation she looks frightened of the Rouge Titan.

Eren stands up, Y/N is defenceless, she just lies there, he picks her up turning her to face him.

Eren bring her close and rests his forehead on hers making soft low growling sounds.

"Eren, I command you to get out of titan form you are acting out of sorts!", I say landing on his shoulder.

Eren has a soft look he nuzzels Y/N's neck for a bit before biting harshly into it.

"Y/N!", my nerves are on edge, is Y/N dies I will have to face Erwin and her family...

Y/N roars in pain shaking her head wildly hoping to do something, Eren turns her so her back is against what's healing of his chest and bites her nape.

My breath hitches with worry, Eren takes a bit chunck of her nape and let's her body fall to the ground.

I grapple to Eren's jaw and stick to it, "Give her to me Eren", I say, Eren gives me a glare.
