Chapter 30

I stand at a table outside HQ with Armin, Levi, Mikasa, and Eren, the rest of Levi's squad is present.

Levi lays out a map of Wall Maria, he says, "The Trost District has been breached three times now, we know Bertholt and Reiner are the reason it broke the first time", I nod with the others in acknowledgement.

I pipe up, "Could it be them again? They did just disappear out of thin air last time", Armin nods and says, "That's true, we need a plan too see who or what is making this happen".

Petra steps in and says, "You don't think they keep doing this to get our attention do you?", Mikasa replies, "Unless they are making a distraction..."

All of our gazes are on Mikasa, Levi says, "Distraction for what?", I stand thinking for a moment when Armin snaps my thoughts, "What are you thinking Y/N?"

I reply with, "I've got an idea of how to catch the thing in action, it requires us watching the wall in hiding though", Armin's smile appears and he says, "That's a brilliant idea, we just need supplies, because we won't know how long we'll be out there".

Levi watches as I shuffle a bit, he says, "We'll think over this plan in a week and discuss again later on, thank you for your suggestion", a small smile escapes him.

That night, I wear a scouting regiment cloak and cover my face with the hood. I stole the cloak from the last time I was in Levi's office.

I am just about to leave HQ when someone grabs the cloak pulling me back, making me stumble into his arms.

Levi...

I gasp in fright, he holds my arms behind my back tightly and asks, "Where do you think you're going?", I say, "I... I just wanted to see my family again..."

Levi turns me around to face him, his hands still have a hard grip on my wrists.

"Did you forget that going to your family in Wall Sina takes two days?", he says, I look to the ground and mutter, "I thought I could get there and back before two days...", Levi flicks my forehead in annoyance.

He says, "I was right you do have your brothers idiocy", he let's go of me and walks past me.

I say, "Sir, where are you going?", he turns back to me and holds out his hand, "Are you going to see your family or not?", he asks.

"Levi? But what about HQ, your squad, Erwin...", I hesitantly take his hand, Levi says, "It's going to be fine, I knew you would do something like this after meeting your family for a long time, I left a note in my office".

Levi has his arms by my sides as he rides his black horse to Wall Sina.

I feel the night making me tired, I rest my head on his chest, he halts the horse and we have been riding for half an hour-ish.

He helps me off the horse and unstraps two sleeping bags from the saddle.

After laying them out I collapse on one. Levi lays himself in his sleeping bag and he is so close I can feel his breath gently blowing my hair as he breathes.

I don't know what's gotten into me but my instincts wrap my arms around his neck.

His eyes crack open, "Y/N..?", He asks, I lay on my side, "Sorry...", I say embarrassed.

After the amount of time it took us to get to Wall Sina. We make it to the town of it.

Levi and I walk beside the horse, his hand holds onto the restrainsts, I hear a few women giggling and chatting about Levi.

I roll my eyes and continue to walk until two women approach him and completely ignore my existence.

One of the women blushes and says, "Hey Levi~ how about you join us and show me what Humanity's Strongest has in his pants".

I yell, "OH MY GOD!", and cover my ears facing the other way, Levi seems amused by my reaction.

The other woman says, "Really Levi, please tell me you didn't settle for this 'thing", I sigh at her pathetic attempt to hurt my feelings.

I reply, "Sweetie, jealousy is a horrible look for you", I give a smug face, she shoves me.

Levi was about to step in until I ran a hand through my hair (unless you don't have any👍) and punched the 'bitch' in the face.

She fell on her back, I stepped over her weak body and continued to walk.

Levi catches up to me with an impressed smile, "You really are getting stronger and stronger everyday", I give a long laugh and he gives me a questioned look.

"What is it?", he asks, I pull him into an alley and whisper, "Your pants are growing", he looks down and covers his hidden lower region.

His face is so red it gives me a shock.

I giggle, "Come on let's go home"
