Levi x Reader (Humanity's Strongest x Humanity's Weakest)

Chapter 13

As we enter the dinning room Levi heads straight to the corporal/captains table.

I was about to go and sit with Eren when Erwin calls my name at the corporals table.

I hesitantly walk over and stand in front of the table.

"Y/N, I want to talk to you tonight about your father and the titan situation", he says, I nod standing awkwardly.

"Please don't just stand there Y/N you are welcome to sit with us", Erwin smiles, I gently pull on my H/C hair nervously and say, "It's alright, I don't mind sitting with the other cadets".

Erwin looks at me questioned while Levi stares up at me from his chair beside me, Erwin smiles again and says, "You don't have to back out because your worried the other cadets will treat you differently", I give a nervously smile and stutter, "N-No that's not it, it's quite alright!" I wave my hand to try and ease the situation.

Levi rolls his eyes and grabs my wrist, "Brat, make your choice before this gets embarrassing for yourself", he says, I nod and walk away to Eren's table.

As I take a seat Annie creeps into my mind, her image in the crystal is soon shattered when Mikasa takes my shoulder.

"Y/N? Are you alright?", she asks, I brighten and nod confidently, Historia takes a seat in front of me with a familiar sketch pad and pencil.

"Y/N, I thought you might want this too play with, sorry I went into your room I thought this would make you feel better", she says as she hands me my sketching pad and pencil, Ymir blushes at the kindness Historia was giving.

I take the pencil and open the pad to a blank page, I start to sketch, it's been a couple of minutes eating and sketching.

Eren, Historia, Mikasa, Ymir and Sasha can't help but lean over and watch in amazement.

Suddenly Jean comes up behind me and snatches the drawing pad from me, "What's this Y/N!", he teases holding the drawing pad up high so I can't reach it.

I get out of my seat and jump for it, the perv thinks it's a good time to stare down at my figure jumping, he thinks it's a great time to steal a glance at my chest as I stretch myself to grab my drawing pad.

"Give it back!", I yelp when I realize where his gaze was and fall back down putting my arms around my chest embarrassed.

He chuckles and stares at the drawing amused, "This looks like Eren, wait no", he looks closer as the room falls silent.

"This looks like Captain Levi", he smirks putting empathise on Levi's name, I blush madly and yell, "I was just drawinga random guy! I didn't know it was going to look like anyone!", I try to say pulling on his arm trying desperately to get my sketch pad back.

"Give it back horse face!", Eren shoves  Jean angrily, Jean shoves Eren back making him tumble backwards and fall onto me.

Eren rubs his head and finds himself ontop of me, "I'm so sorry Y/N", he says a blush faintly on his face our noses almost touching.

"Tch, damn brats", Eren was thrown on the ground opposite me with a foot on his throat while Jean was being strangled by Levi himself.

"You're disappointing Cadet Y/N, you can't even defend yourself, there isn't always going to be a Knight in Shining armor to save you", Levi releases the boys and pulls me up so quick I almost tumble over my feet.

~That night~
I enter Erwin's office, he awaits me patiently and smiles when he see me.

I take a seat and he starts to speak,
"Y/N, I know being a titan shifter is a very big shock to you and it scares you the fact that you are something you fear", when he says this I nod for him to continue, "Your father knew you could turn into a titan because Eren's father was the one who experimented the titan syrum on you when you were younger along with Eren himself".

Erwin pauses seeing if I am taking this in, "Your father was scared you would turn into one by accidently hurting yourself so he tampered with my work and make you go into the Survey Corps, I was supposed to send you to the Garrison or Military Police of your choice when the time came but it was too late, your father handed the papers in himself".

A question finally has risen in me, I ask, "Wait, how do you know my family? You weren't just my baby sitter when I was a kid were you?", Erwin giggles slight before returning serious, "Your father, Leon L/N, is a retired Captain, he retired so he could raise you and marry your mother Lily L/N, that's how I knew your parents I was good friends with your father".

"When either of your parents were away I would take care of you like my own daughter since I don't have one, I promise that in the Survey Corps you will be safe", he takes my hand across his desk to comfort me.

Then his face brightened, "Actually...", he pulls out papers from the drawer of his desk and hands them to me, he smiles at my shocked expression and says, "You have a chance to see your parents", I look up at him hopefully.

"Can I really?", I ask tears building up, Erwin gets out of his desk and hugs me tightly, "Yes you can, Levi will have to escort you to Wall Sina to meet them, I will have to arrive late due to my work".

I nod and hug Erwin back crying in happiness because for once out of my time in hell with facing titans and loosing Annie and becoming one of my worst fears, I can finally see my parents again.
