"Soobin hyung lives at the same street as mine? Oh my gosh, Inneed to find his house!" Beomgyu exclaimed as he entered Yeonjun's house. The Sunday came and Beomgyu, Huening Kai and Taehyun decided to pay a visit to Yeonjun. It's kind of a tradition for them since they go to Yeonjun's house on either of the weekends almost at all times."You're weird. Why would you? You're not friends." Yeonjun, with an annoyed face, rolled his eyes at his friend's comment. "And, really? Hyung? You don't even know his age."
"Why are you like this, hyung?" Taehyun asked as he noticed Yeonjun's words during the whole conversation. He seems so off. Something's so off. He suddenly disagrees with everything. He also just interrupts one's words when feels like it. He's not like this a while ago.z He was like this when Soobin became the topic of these friends' conversation. Taehyun can't understand him today. He really can't. No one can.
The two other young men looked at the oldest after Taehyun's question. While taehyun was just sitting on the couch with his legs crossed, Huening Kai has both of his hands on his iced tea, drinking it. Beomgyu, on the other hand, has his arms laid on the table in front of him. Their eyes were straightly looking at Yeonjun, observing him. I bet they were also curious about Yeonjun's attitude and behavior today.
In front of the three was Yeonjun, who has his one hand on his side and the other was holding his iced coffee, taking a sip from it. He raised his right eyebrow as he noticed the looks from his three friends right here. "Uh, what?"
"Did something happen after you saw him yesterday? Why are you being so sulky right now?" There's some hint of annoyance in Taehyun's tone, he even raised his voice a little. His observance was true enough and obvious for the other two not to know. "Sorry to burst your bubble but it looks like you're living in your own world where you think everything is cute."
"Okay. was that an insult or a compliment?" Yeonjun rolled his eyes. "And to answer your question, no. Nothing else happened after I met Soobin that morning. You're asking me why am Inbeing sulky when I don't even know too myself." Yeonjun raised his voice as well.
The room turned quiet. No, the whole house was silent. It was too silent, that even their breathings could be heard though they are sitting quite far from each other. Yes, it is silent. Nothing else was heard but the deafening silence.
"Are we having a fight right now?" Beomgyu, who sat closer to Huening Kai when the tension between the other two was felt, interrupted the silence of the house. "Please stop. Can you? This is nonsense."
"I'm sorry, hyung," Taehyun apologized with his head looking down at his toes. "I just couldn't understand why you're being like this."
Taehyun received no response from his friend, Yeonjun. He was just looking down while playing with his fingers. He knew. He felt the tension between them and he felt awkward. They don't always have fights. It's too rare for the four of them to fight with each other. They always go along very well.
"I apologize as well. I, myself, couldn't even understand why I am like this today. I'm really sorry." Yeonjun still has his head bowed down. He doesn't want to look up. He felt really sorry for taehyun, but also with the other two for they also got involved for some reason. They just didn't expect them to fight.
"Are we okay now? Alright! Where should we go?" Huening Kai said with a hint of excitement in his voice. The other three looked at him and they saw Huening Kai having the biggest smile on his face. Simple things really makes Kai the happiest person to exist.
