"this twig never learns," yeonjun complained, upset over beomgyu calling him early in the morning. he wasn't even awake, but then his phone, which was beside his pillow, rang and it showed beomgyu's name on the screen. it isn't even a weekday so there's no work, but here is beomgyu ruining his morning. "what?""wake up!" yeonjun immediately moved his phone away from his ear when beomgyu suddenly yelled as the call was answered. yeonjun was now fully awake, thanks to his dear friend's yelling. at least, beomgyu is advantageous in the morning. "wake up now, hyung. open your damn door."
yeonjun sat up, his fingers on the left hand running through his hair as his other hand was rubbing his eyes and trying to cover it from the sunshine. he moved his phone away from his ear and placed it in front of him, on the bed. the call was still on going but only beomgyu was talking. having enough of his friend's voice, he ended the call.
he laid down once more on his bed, trying his best to sleep again but his phone was heard ringing for the second time. this time, it was the youngest who was calling. he answered it, "what do you want?"
"hyung, open your door!" similar to beomgyu, huening kai also had a loud voice while talking to him. he moved his phone away from his ear again, irritated of the loudness of the youngest's voice. "or do you have a spare key hidden somewhere? i'll get it."
"i do have a spare key, but forget it. leave,"
"but—" huening kai was left dumbfounded as yeonjun ended the call. he tried to go back to sleep once again but he heard voices from outside. those voices were familiar, and of course, it was his friends'. although he can't understand what they were saying, they were still loud enough for yeonjun to hear. although impossible, yeonjun closed his eyes, thinking he would fall asleep.
yeonjun has no idea of his friends intentions and why they are here in front of house early in the morning. or was it early? for yeonjun, as long as there's no work, ten o'clock is still early. he would usually wake up at the usual lunch time whenever there's nothing to do. and today, he considered his friends as disturbance.
a minute or two passed by and yeonjun's phone was ringing again, "what do you want, taehyun?"
"i just want you to open the door. is that too much to ask for, hyung?" unlike the two other friends, taehyun was sounding calm but yeonjun knows he can be loud if he'd like to. the oldest rolled his eyes, then after removing the blanket off of him. he stood up from his bed, wore his slippers, and went downstairs. well, they made yeonjun open the door, at least.
as the door opened, yeonjun's three friends were standing right in front of him. yeonjun's lips parted, shocked and surprised, while being confused at the same time. beomgyu, huening kai, and taehyun were dressed up nicely, in a not-so-formal clothing. usually, on days like these, they'd be wearing hoodies or just t-shirts with wide pants, but not today.
for a few minutes, yeonjun was just looking at his friends who was also looking at him back. he felt weirded out. was there something we planned that i forgot? yeonjun thought. while the three friends were dressed with their nice and styled clothing, here is yeonjun in his pajamas.
it seems like beomgyu was tired of just standing there, so he went inside, pushing their hyung aside, alongside taehyun and huening kai. beomgyu then held yeonjun by his arm, pulling him along, going to his room. as all of them were inside, beomgyu went inside yeonjun's closet, rummaging through tons of clothes. "hey, i just arranged my clothes yesterday! what are you even doing?"
"shh, hyung! leave it to us," the youngest shushed the oldest of them.
"what the hell? tell me what is going on," no one answered yeonjun. he sighed in defeat, laying down on his bed while he lets beomgyu, taehyun, and huening kai do whatever they want. whatever, he's used to it.
"hyung, take a bath," taehyun said, coming back from yeonjun's closet as both him and huening kai followed beomgyu. he came out holding a full outfit in his hands, which includes clothing, shoes, and some accessories. "wear these after."
agreeing to what his friends said, yeonjun went inside the bathroom to take a bath even without knowing why he needs to at this hour. it's still too early, though. well, he thinks maybe there was just a planned hang out he forgot about.
after taking a bath and dressing up, he looked at himself in the mirror then turned his back to look at his friends. "doesn't this look weird? i'm not going anywhere."
"no, it looks great," beomgyu said, looking at yeonjun's outfit of the day. "now, let's go. they're waiting."
"they?"
"no more questions, hyung," huening kai pulled yeonjun by the arm, going out of the house and walking out of the street. heading to another street, thoughts filled his head. he's not quite sure if it was beomgyu's house they were going or his boyfriend's. however, his question was answered.
"this is basically trespassing, what the heck," yeonjun tried to stop taehyun, huening kai, and beomgyu from entering soobin's house. it's not theirs, and they have no permission from the owner to come there.
"hey! stop, don't go—"
"hi!" yeonjun stopped talking as he heard a feminine voice, greeting him and his friends. he turned to look at the girl, and more thoughts came into his heads. there's a possibility that he's thinking about other unnecessary things he shouldn't think about like is this soobin's new lover, was it the end for them, did soobin go home and found himself in a new relationship with a girl and such, but no. 'cause when he's about to think of that, the girl spoke, "i'm soomin, soobin's twin sister."
what a relief, i guess? yeonjun thought.
"you must be choi yeonjun right?" yeonjun nodded at soobin's twin sister. "soobin told me about you," soomin chuckled. "come in, we prepared lunch for you."
the three men, without hesitation, went inside soobin's house, leaving yeonjun at the door. yeonjun went in slowly, roaming his eyes around the house to at least catch a sight of his lover, but he didn't see him.
"welcome," a deep, manly voice was heard as he entered the area.
when he reached the dining room, everybody was seated. yeonjun was shocked and felt nervous for soobin's parents were there, looking at him as he walked over to the dining table. the twins' father was seated at the head of the table while their mother was on her husband's right side, and beside her was soomin. there were two spare seats on the father's left side. after those two spare seats was where beomgyu, taehyun, and huening kai were seated. yeonjun sat down on the second spare seat, beside his friend, taehyun. one last spare seat, and it was obviously for that one man yeonjun has been dying to see even in just a month of not seeing each other.
yeonjun tried looking at the door as seconds passed by, hoping soobin would arrive immediately after he did but looked down when he still hasn't arrived. wanting to go to the nearest comfort room to at least get some nervousness out of his system, words stopped him.
"hi, love." because of the nerve-wrecking situation he was in, yeonjun didn't even notice that soobin already entered the dining area and was already seated behind him. he looked at his boyfriend, finally seeing him after a month. soobin smiled, "i'm home."
