"woah, woah, woah. what the hell?" with eyes and mouth wide open, beomgyu said in such shock. same goes with taehyun and huening kai who were standing beside beomgyu. the three stare in shock at those two, entering huening kai's house.those two seemed like they didn't hear their three other friends looking at them, like they didn't care at all. they made their way to the living room where beomgyu, kai, and taehyun were already at. soobin and yeonjun sat down, looking at the three.
"what's with all of you?" yeonjun asked as he saw the faces of the three men looking at them, eyes and mouths still opened wide. yeonjun waved his left hand in front of their faces, making them go back to reality from wherever their minds went.
"w-what the heck is that?" huening kai asked, pointing at something, which everyone's eyes looked at too.
and that something? well, it's nothing but soobin and yeonjun's intertwined hands.
it is definitely something surprising, shocking too, for beomgyu, taehyun, and huening kai. well, they haven't seen those two intertwining hands. never, for they know yeonjun wouldn't allow that. unless...
"you..." taehyun started. "are you finally—"
"yes, taehyun. we're together now." without taehyun finishing his sentence, soobin answered the younger. and as he answered, the eyes and mouths of everyone except yeonjun and soobin were opened even wider.
"there's no way— you're lying, ha!" beomgyu laughed, pointing at yeonjun, insisting they were lying about their now real relationship.
"what the hell do you mean? it's true, twig." yeonjun saw how beomgyu's face turned into a face of laughter to a face of shock and confusion. everyone in the group of friends knew that soobin was courting yeonjun, so seeing the three of them being shocked with the recent news were also confusing for the other two. i mean, it's just them dating. nothing's shocking. you can definitely sense something between yeonjun and soobin the first time you'll meet them. it's nothing, really. just a pair of lovers.
"i know, dumbo. i just acted." laughing out loud with his sentence, beomgyu accidentally hit taehyun's arm with his left hand as beomgyu's other hand was hitting his thigh. why is everything so funny to this guy?
"that hurts, what the hell!" taehyun yelled at beomgyu, but he just continued laughing until he held his stomach with the reason of having difficulty in breathing because of too much laughter. beomgyu coughed, then finally stopped laughing. "deserved."
"damn you—"
"you know, being cocky and annoyingly upsetting are unusual for a couple." soobin rolled his eyes, then alternately looked at both beomgyu and taehyun. and after seconds, yeonjun eyes widened as he started coughing.
"stop eating too much in one bite, dumb ass," beomgyu complained, handing soobin a bottled water so he could give it to yeonjun.
when yeonjun calmed down and his coughs are gone, he turned to look at his friends, but eyes are more focused on the two friends in front of him, beomgyu and taehyun. "why the fuck didn't you tell me you were already a damn couple? i hate you so bad for hiding secrets from me!"
"damn it," taehyun whispered. he then looked to his left to see beomgyu all quiet and still, head looking down and hands laying stiffly on his sides. both of them weren't moving, not even an inch.
huening kai, who was surprisingly quiet while eating, had his loud laughs heard around the house. everybody except beomgyu looked at him, and that's when he shut his mouth. he even pretended to get a key from his pocket to lock his mouth and prevent him from opening it and start talking. this so-called adult, really.
"why are you so quiet all of a sudden?" beomgyu was still looking down as yeonjun faced both him and taehyun. later on, yeonjun faced soobin who smiled cutely and then to huening kai who was controlling his laughter. "and you, why in the damn hell are you laughing? did i say a joke? no. now, what's funny?"
"you know what's funny, hyung?" yeonjun's face automatically faced his front as he heard beomgyu spoke. without looking at each other because beomgyu was still facing the floor, beomgyu spoke again. "what's damn funny is that we aren't even a couple and just spilled something else. damn you! he didn't even know that i like him!" with that, beomgyu stood up from the sofa and ran to the comfort room seen from the living room, hearing the doors being locked. aw, shy shy shy?
"he got shy, aw. i didn't know beomgyu had a side like this," soobin said as he looked at the locked bathroom door, waiting for beomgyu to come out though they knew it would take him a long time to even unlock the door. "did you already know, taehyun?"
"no," taehyun answered, keeping his best to avoid stuttering. "does he really —" he faked cough. "does he really like me?"
"mm, yeah obviously," huening kai said, making everyone in the living room look at him again. "and both of you are so stupid and numb to realize."
for a minute or two everyone was quiet. they didn't look at each other, only soobin and yeonjun were. they would keep their laughs to themselves, thinking the same way as huening kai does. they were both really stupid to realize each other's feelings. they lived by the thought of stupidity. but now that they realized, will something change? maybe yes, maybe no. no one really knows. and if love is what they desire, they should trust the time and theirselves. it's up to them both, just like what happened to soobin and yeonjun.
and now that soobin and yeonjun are finally together after yeonjun's months of hatred towards soobin, months of him being in denial, soobin's months of hidden feelings, the days of confession, months of courtship, and up until that sweet yes of yeonjun to him being soobin's boyfriend, will the world take their side? no one knows, not even them. well, hopefully.
