"i'm gonna miss you!" yeonjun exclaims while he was hugging his younger sister, who looks like she's about to cry. "hey, hey. don't cry! i'll be back soon, i promise."

the little sister nods and hugs his older brother once again. this always happens even though it has been a long time since yeonjun had been leaving his home to work and live at his own small house all by himself.

"i'm gonna miss you too, mom, dad," yeonjun stated and walked towards his parents and hugged them. it's getting emotional, like they haven't witnessed this for how many times now.

"son." and there, yeonjun dropped his bag and ran over his grandmother, who was sitting on a wheel chair. he hugged his grandmother, embracing her both in his arms like they're not going to meet again. but they surely are, soon. "i'll see you soon. make sure to introduce him to me," his grandma said and managed to smile widely. yeonjun laughed out of embarassment.

he let go of his embrace and picked up his bag, ready to leave his home and go back to the city, where his friends and his person are waiting. his person. yeonjun smiled at that thought.

"bye! i'll see you soon!" yeonjun said as he started walking to the nearest area to wait for buses. good thing there's one near their family house. as he saw the bus, he looked one last time at his family and waved at them goodbye. he entered the bus and sat at the last seats for two, near the window.

inside the bus, it was quiet, it was cold, and it was still spacious since it was early in the morning and it was a sunday. more people are probably resting at this time rather than going anywhere at this time.

for some reason, yeonjun wanted to sleep for a while. he didn't get enough sleep last night. it was about two in the morning when he finally went to dream land, and woke up at thirty minutes before six in the morning to prepare and leave home.

he was busy thinking about what his mama said.

so, he closed his eyes and immediately fell asleep. it was never comfortable to sleep while sitting down, but does he have a choice? no, he doesn't. it would be embarrassing to place your feet on the vacant sit next to you just to sleep peacefully. it'll be better to keep himself from sleeping than doing that.

after about two hours, the bus finally stopped and reached its destination. yeonjun is back in the city where he lives, where he works, and where he can be with his friends and soobin himself.

as he went off the bus, his friends are nowhere in sight. but then, his phone was ringing so loud while it was connected to his earphones so he immediately took them off. it was the youngest who was calling. "hyung!" he loudly heard.

"huening," yeonjun called back then smiled. "where are you?"

"we're heading to the ice cream parlor. i don't know what's up with beomgyu hyung, he offered to buy us all ice cream." in huening kai's words were excitement. he couldn't hide that emotion for it is a treat from beomgyu they were talking about. that's beomgyu — you might even have to hold a feast before he treats you to something.

"alright. i'll see you there," yeonjun said and bid his goodbye to the younger before ending the on-going call. he then started walking, heading to their favorite ice cream parlor. he already knew his friends headed there. they always do.

when he was near the parlor, he ran towards the entrance door because he saw beomgyu waiting in line, meaning they were already inside. when he opened the door, he immediately saw beomgyu, huening kai, taehyun, and — wait. where the hell?

soobin was out of his sight.

right there and then, his body felt the disappointment to see all of them but the person he really love to see right after stepping down the city. he was nowhere to be found in that location.

"yeonjun hyung!" taehyun called. the others heard taehyun and looked at yeonjun, who was now walking slowly towards the table where kai, beomgyu, and taehyun are in. yeonjun was still looking for that one man.

"hey guys!" he smiled at them and went straight to the vacant seat and sat down, grabbing that one mint chocolate ice cream placed on the table. he isn't wasting some treat from beomgyu. "did something happen while i was gone? there should be something, right? this whole ice cream from beomgyu thing is surprising."

we all looked at beomgyu who just finished placing all the ice creams he ordered on the table and was about to sit on a vacant chair beside taehyun and yeonjun. now that they're all sitting, the last vacant chair became more visible and obvious. "just appreciate it, asshole."

beomgyu then handed over the other two ice creams to huening kai and taehyun who excitedly took their own ice cream and ate it like it'll be the last. beomgyu then took his and ate it as well. their's this last one ice cream placed on the center of the table. that only one. 'that means he's coming, i'm gonna see him,' yeonjun thought.

"so," taehyun started a conversation. "what happened back there, hyung?" he asked, looking at the oldest.

"well," yeonjun started to answer. the things that happened when he was with his family were back on his mind. from the moment he finally saw them
again, the talk with mama, and the moment he left them once more, it all filled his mind. "we just celebrated like it was already my day. we ate, and just simply had fun. you know i don't like grand celebrations."

"we actually missed you, you know," huening kai suddenly stated. after so, a laugh was heard from the other.

"i didn't," beomgyu said and laughed once more.

"you little—" but yeonjun couldn't even finish his sentence. he felt like his hearing was so good that he even stopped mid-sentence because he heard the door of the parlor open even with this loud environment.

he didn't know why but it seems like his head had its own control when it suddenly turned to look straight at the door and there he saw him.

at first, he didn't want to believe it was him. 'i may just be missing him too much,' yeonjun thought. but no — it was real. he was real. he was there, letting go of the entrance door when he finally saw those four men enjoying their ice creams.

and to confirm, "yeonjunie!"

he missed that. that annoying little nickname he really hated back then for that man right there was also annoying. that nickname that could literally make him punch that man anywhere on his face for calling him that. because, why? he has this decent name, yeonjun, but he chose to call him yeonjunie. it's cute, but he hates it. but that was before for every now and then, he wants to hear that little nickname he made for him, to be called by only him.

and when their eyes met for the first time after a week or more, yeonjun finally him knew to himself that he was longing. he was longing to hear that voice, to see that face, that smile, those eyes, and those dimples. he was longing even after only a very short period of time.

yeonjun finally knew. he finally confirmed it.

his feelings. he was finally sure. his system shouted it out loud, his heart screamed it, and his mind excitedly yelled. now, he can finally say that his mind and heart are in such unison. no arguments nor debates.

it both screamed the same thing. 'i like him, i want him.'
