"i wonder what your sister looks like. do you look like her?" yeonjun continued peeling the oranges he got from the fruit basket placed on soobin's dining table. soobin, on the other hand, was standing in front of the refrigerator, trying to find something to drink other than water.

"mom said i look like her and i think so too," yeonjun nodded at soobin's answer and ate a piece of the orange. he looked at soobin intensely, tilting his head from time to time every time soobin moves and the angle changes.

soobin finally found a drink he liked to have and told yeonjun they should stay outside, where the pool area is. as they sat down on the small couch located just beside the back door, yeonjun placed the plate of oranges and continued with eating those fruits.

"i might melt, yeonjun," soobin chuckled, smiling cheekily as he caught yeonjun staring at him just like how he did earlier when they were in the dining room. yeonjun blinked twice, frowning, when he realized what soobin meant.

"ii just wanted to see how your sister looks like. you said you looked like her so i was imagining her face with yours," yeonjun looked away because of embarrassment and soobin giggled at his actions. with the visible redness of yeonjun's cheeks, soobin kept on teasing him until the older got enough of it and acted upset to stop soobin in all the teasing.

"don't act as if i really wanted to stare at you. you're not worth staring at." lies. yeonjun could stare at his lover all day and he wouldn't complain a bit.

they stayed at the pool area for quite a while and most of the time they're surrounded by the silence. good thing that silence isn't the deafening kind, but the comfortable. when they converse, it's mostly about their families and their interests on things. however, at some point, the sudden topic of them as lovers were brought up. they talked about their life ever since meeting each other and falling in love. crazy how they talked about the upcoming future too. their future.

"where do you see yourself a few years from now?" yeonjun raised his eyebrow, confused at soobin's question. wait, what is this? an idol's interview? he thought.

"i don't know? maybe opening a restaurant of my own, or still at the library. i just want to enjoy life," soobin nodded at yeonjun's response. after that question, it was silence once again until yeonjun asked the same question.

"me? with you."

"you see yourself with me in a few more years?" soobin didn't say no, nor did he say yes. he just showed a smile to yeonjun, a genuine one. as yeonjun smiled back, their eyes caught each other's and they locked eyes. it wasn't awkward, but rather calming, knowing that with just the eyes, there's assurance. i love him, and he loves me, both of them had the same thought in mind.

but with soobin having no response to yeonjun's question, they both know. they both know there's no possible answer to that. either yes or no, or neither. maybe they'll know once time comes. only time will tell, they say. all will be alright in time.

"wait, i'll get some water." soobin nodded and yeonjun left him there to go inside and get a pitcher of water and two glasswares to drink from.

opening the back door to enter the house, yeonjun found soobin's house empty, not until one of the house employees, which they call aunties, showed up and assisted yeonjun. he wanted to help them but the auntie politely rejected his offer. yeonjun offered to help for quite a lot of times until the auntie agreed. he peeled more oranges and prepared more fruits for his lover.
