"i'm hungry," yeonjun had been looking at food stalls since they arrived at the huge park where they would rent bicycles to ride later on. he was then pointing each stall that caught his eyes and mentioning them to soobin, who was holding his right hand while walking. holding hands is now a thing for them, isn't it? "let's eat, please?"

"yeah," soobin chuckled. "let's eat. i'm hungry too."

the park is actually huge. there are areas for food stalls and trucks, the bicycles, picnic grounds, playgrounds for children, and an area full of chairs and tables made of cement which is used for eating and such.

everything was alright. everything before light rain started dropping which turned to heavy rain pouring down on them. those people who were unsheltered from the rain ran to the nearest covered area. gladly, there aren't too many people around the huge place. most of them are couples and children.

"how can we ride bikes now? it's raining. they won't allow us to rent bikes by then." yeonjun was irritated once again. the rain really ruined their plans for today — for their date. yeonjun always loved the rains, no matter how heavy or light it is, but now, he hates them as much as some ice cream parlor removes mint chocolate in their list of flavors.

soobin thought of something for yeonjun to feel satisfied and blithesome with their date. he doesn't want the older to feel like the whole day's ruined just because of the heavy rain. he wants nothing but happiness for his person, the love of his life, the one he cherishes the most, his yeonjunie.

they have finished eating minutes ago, and they were about to ride bikes near the picnic grounds around the huge park. soobin previously hated the rain, but now he has love for the rain. to not let their date just go to such waste, soobin thought of something to do. finally, something to do.

soobin offered his hand to yeonjun, like he was reaching out for a handshake. the older was confused, he didn't know why his boyfriend was doing that. 'what's with the hand?' yeonjun thought.

"take my hand. let's go." yeonjun grabbed soobin's hand and intertwined them. they are again in a state of holding hands, feeling the warmth in each other's palms. it seems like their hands wouldn't separate again for a little while.

yeonjun stood up as soobin did before him. he didn't know what his boyfriend was doing. he just followed soobin's actions, still unsure of what was about to happen or what was the younger about to do.

they were now exiting the roofed area of the picnic grounds. no one else was there for the other people left earlier because of the downpour, only soobin and yeonjun were left there. "what the hell, soobin? it's raining."

"just trust me. we're simply going to have fun." soobin said and gave yeonjun a small but cute smile. yeonjun was confused, but since he trusts the younger, a smile was formed across his charming face. soobin saw that, and smiled genuinely as well. he knew. he just knew that smile would turn things around.

it wasn't drizzling, it was real heavy rain that has been pouring down on them and it hasn't stopped since then. they were walking towards the middle of the open area, still in a state of holding hands. there's no way they're going to let go of their hands at this point. i mean, why would they let go? would they? no. no, of course not.
