"is he an idol?" huening kai asked as they were walking down the streets, going to work. it's now another weekday and this is the first time this week where they were going to work together. they were pretty busy that the other two comes to work too early for them to meet in the morning. even in going home, the other two then would go late."no, he's not," yeonjun responded. he already told his friends about the call and soobin's singing. they couldn't believe it too. of course, they were also surprised. on top of that, they didn't expect that soobin was composing a song. he looks like an idol, basically because of his charming face, but he's not.
"what's his job?" beomgyu asked, hands on his pocket. actually, no one knew what soobin's job was. they're not friends. they don't know each other that well. they only see soobin in the streets and sometimes in the library. 'how the hell could i know?' yeonjun thought.
and as seconds passed by, they arrived at work. the other two went separate ways and yeonjun and beomgyu went to the second floor where the library was. it was always them who will open the library at such an early hour.
when it was finally time to expect library visitors, yeonjun and beomgyu stood in their respective places, smiling at the visitors who would look and smile at them. not all visitors do that though. not even a 'good morning' will be heard from them, they won't even look at you and just go straight to where they were headed inside the library.
after a small crowd went inside the library, they sat on their chairs and went on typing on their computer. an hour later and other librarians are coming to work, those who are replacing beomgyu and yeonjun during lunch break and are responsible for assisting the visitors as well.
"yeonjun sunbaenim," just before lunch starts, the librarian, who is younger than the two, called yeonjun. "a visitor asked me to call you."
yeonjun looked at his fellow librarian and raised his right eyebrow. he stood up from his chair, going near the librarian. "who is it?"
"no name mentioned. he just wants you to go to him," the younger said and yeonjun nodded in response to him. "he's in the couch right there." the librarian pointed to where the visitor, who is looking for yeonjun, is.
yeonjun nodded again and let the librarian go back to where he was and continue his work. he then turned to beomgyu, who was already looking at him, still sitting. "that's obviously him," beomgyu said and turned his back to yeonjun, continuing his work as well.
yeonjun left the counter and went to where the visitor was. he saw someone sitting on the couch, placing his elbows on the table in front of him and with a book in his hand, covering his face. yeonjun slowly sat down across this visitor, sitting straight and looking directly at him. "what is it now, soobin?"
he didn't respond. he took a peek of yeonjun and slowly closed the book and placed it down on the table. he placed his elbows again, putting his face in between his palms. 'it's not the right time to be cute. i still have work.' yeonjun was already complaining in his mind.
but still, there was no respond from soobin. he was just there, sitting, and looking directly at the older who was sitting in front of him, which is yeonjun.
"what are you doing here?" yeonjun asked, hands crossed on his chest. he's getting pretty annoyed. he still has work to be done and here is soobin, who called him, and found him doing nothing in front of him. just... what the hell?
"i wanted to see you," soobin replied.
"that's... that's it?" yeonjun asked the younger.
