"have you arrived?" soobin looked out the car's window to see where they are right now as yeonjun asked if they arrived. he saw very familiar places so he knows where they actually are.

"not yet, but we're near," soobin sounded unhappy, and yeonjun knows. soobin sighed, making his driver look at him from the rear view mirror of the car. they both nodded to each other, a way of saying there's no problem or everything's alright as the driver is always checking on him. you know, for safety. "love, i don't want to—"

"shh, love. you can do this, okay? and if you can't, just call me. i'll be there," even from afar, soobin knows yeonjun has this genuine smile displayed on his face as he reassures him that when everything might go wrong, he's with him.

a few more minutes passed and they were still on the road. soobin just woke up from a short nap and woke up when he heard his name being called by their driver repeatedly, telling him that they have arrived. soobin blinked twice and rubbed his eyes as he was adjusting to the bright light coming from the outside of the car.

"thank you, sir," soobin thanked his driver as he pulled his small luggage bag with him for a month stay in his family's house. yeonjun's aware of his stay there and they both agreed to just keep in contact through social medias, phone calls, and messages for there is no other choice for them both.

soobin kept on a straight face as two house employees opened the front door and the interior with the mixed color of black, cream shade of white, and a little hint of beige welcomed his sight. he walked inside, pulling his luggage, when he heard his mom spoke.

"glad you came," soobin looked at his mother, his expression unchanged. soobin's mom smiled but she received no emotion from his son. maybe he's still upset about that incident a few months ago.

how time passed by so quickly, it's crazy. his confession to yeonjun will hit a year in a month, and their relationship in a few more months. it's really crazy. they wished time would stop even for a little while.

"i came for someone else, mom," as disrespectful it may sound, soobin tried to remain the casualty between them, like how a usual mother and her child will communicate. however, they're not the usual kind. because if usual relationships between mothers and children are the type to create a fuss but make up a few days later, soobin and his mom were never in great terms, not even in a good one.

"oh my god, choi!" soobin's head turned sideways immediately as he heard that feminine voice coming from upstairs. there, he saw her, running down the stairs, excited than ever. she's older but why does she sound so young? "choi! i haven't seen you in years!"

"it took you so long to come home. it's not my fault, choi," soobin responded with a soft voice as she hugged him really tight when she reached soobin who was standing right after the first step of the staircase.

and that name they call each other, choi. it's obviously their surname, and they call each other with that name for they are siblings, moreover twins. the clever and excellent soomin was just minutes older than soobin so he still considered her as an older sister. but with their actions, well, soobin seemed like the older one between the two of them.

soomin is the very reason of why soobin agreed to stay in their family house for over a month. if not because of her, then it's possible that he wouldn't even come there. it's all because of his sister.

the afternoon was spent well. the twins had all the time to their selves and they did all the things they wanted to do together before she left for the states, where their father was. but then, after getting fruit juice from the refrigerator, the door opened and it revealed someone soobin has been missing but doesn't want to see, someone who was once his role model, and someone he used to believe would take his side in everything but was wrong.
