I woke up the next day by the nurse as usual. She took my vitals and checked me over before allowing me to go to the cafeteria area for breakfast. After that, I went back to my room and waited around there. Chi said that he was going to visit me that day, but I didn't know when. I got anxious and decided to text him, asking when he was going to visit me.
Me: When are you going to come here?
♥Chi♥: I'll be there at around one. If it changes, I'll be sure to let you know, okay?
Me: Fine
I waited a minute for him to text me back.
Me: Are you busy?
♥Chi♥: Yeah, sort of.
Me: Oh...
Me: Sorry.
He didn't reply after that, so I knew that I should leave him alone. I wanted to take a nap before lunch, but the nurses wouldn't let me, so I just stayed in my room and read a book that I read many times before. At one point I got bored of reading, so I sat by the window and watched the grey, gloomy sky shed large, fluffy snowflakes. I thought that it was calming and pretty. I also wished that I was able to be outside rather than be cooped up in a psych ward.
Anyways, once lunch rolled around, I sat at the same table as before by myself this time. The food wasn't that good, but it was edible I guess. After lunch, I waited around in the cafeteria area to get told that I had a visitor. After an hour and a half, I finally was informed. I went to a commons area and waited there for a couple minutes before anyone else entered. To my surprise, Toshinori, Aizawa, and Yamada all accompanied Chi.
I smiled as soon as I saw them and stood up to hug Chi since I felt like I hadn't seen him in forever. I squeezed him tightly as I said, "God, I missed you so much!"
He chuckled as he said, "I missed you too, kitten."
Yamada acted as though he was offended, "What about us? Didn't you miss us?"
I let go of Chi as I said, "Of course I did, I was just getting there." then sat down. They all took a seat too with Chi sitting next to me and the other three across from me. I smiled as I said to the three, "I didn't know that you guys were going to come too."
Toshi looked at me and said, "I know I shouldn't say this right off the bat, but why didn't you tell me that you were going to be coming to a place like this?"
My smile faded away before I looked down. I looked away as I said quietly, "I didn't want you to worry."
"I've told you before that no matter what you do, no matter how safe it is, I'll still worry." He paused to shake his head. "Why? Just why didn't you tell me? Do you really think that I'm that sick that I can't handle being worried?" he asked in a disappointed tone.
"I don't want to make your condition worse."
He sighed before continuing in an angered tone, "Y/N, I don't-"
"Yagi," said Aizawa in a stern tone, "just let it go for now. This isn't the right place for arguing over something like this."
"I'm sorry." I said in a quiet tone.
Yamada tried to lighten the mood by asking, "How have you been? Is it alright staying here?"
I let out a tired sign before answering, "I suppose I've been alright. I guess I've been more positive than usual, so I guess that the medication is working like it should. I haven't had any side effects either, so that's a good thing." I paused as I said, "Umm..." then went on. "I don't really like staying here since I feel out of place, but at least I get to talk to Rei, ya know, who's Todoroki's mother. Yesterday was the first day that I saw her, but I hope I get to see her before I leave. I haven't seen her in forever."
