Chapter 26: Finishing up

I woke up the next morning by Chi holding me to his chest while he sat up. I slowly opened my eyes and looked up to see that he was putting on his glasses, which he then looked down and handed me mine. I was still about the height of a pen, so obviously under Chi's quirk. As I put my glasses on, he watched me with a smile.

"What time is it?" I asked.

He looked over at the clock before responding, "Nine forty-six." I nodded my head as I closed my eyes again and rested it against his chest. "Hey, don't go back to sleep. We have to go out and find new dishes n' stuff."

I opened my eyes again and looked up tiredly, "I suppose, so will you please bring me back to my normal size?"

He sighed sadly, "Fine."

"Thank you." I said just as he reversed his quirks effects. Once I was back to my normal size, I found myself sitting on his lap with my legs hanging over the side of the bed and his arms around me.

"Still cute as ever." he said happily.

I got off his lap and stood up as I muttered, "Yet not cute enough to put on a shelf."

He stopped me by pulling on the back of my hoodie, making me turn around for him to ask in a warm tone, "How's your arm feeling?"

Since I was just wearing a tank top still, I brought up my left arm and looked at the bandages. It had a large dark red stain that was hard and sticking to the cuts. "I need to change it." I said before asking, "How about you?"

He looked to his arm and saw that nothing was staining the bandage. "It looks fine to me."

I walked towards the bathroom as I said, "Let's remove it then since it seems that it won't bleed. It needs to breathe you know, so it can heal."

I grabbed a pair of black skinny jeans and a dark purple hoodie before walking into the bathroom. Just as I finished putting on my jeans, Chi walked in with his change of clothes. I stood behind the sink and began to unravel the thick bandage that was wrapped around my left arm. Once I got to the part that was touching the cuts, I could feel some of them reopening, then watched as little beads of blood formed. Just as I turned to throw the gauze in the trash, I turned back to see that Chi had grabbed the box of bandages. I wrapped up my arm again as Chi got dressed before I put on my hoodie. When we were going to leave the bathroom, Chi shrunk me down again to the height of a pen.

He picked me up as I yelled, "Why did you shrink me again?!"

"I'll make breakfast and I know that this is the only way that you won't do anything." he said in a mischievous tone. I crossed my arms as I shook my head while we walked out. Just as we walked into the kitchen, the doorbell rang, which Chi then turned around and opened the door as he had his hand out with me sitting on his palm. When he opened the door, it relieved that Aizawa and Yamada were at the door. "Good morning." said Chi.

Before anyone could say anything else, Yamada said loudly, "What happened, Y/N!? You're so small! Were you called in? Did a villain do this to you?"

I covered my ears until he was done talking before I explained with my arms crossed, "Jerk face here used his quirk on me so I won't do anything since my quirks don't work when I'm this tiny."

"I take it then that you two made up?" Aizawa asked. I nodded my head.

"Hey, what happened to your arm?" Yamada asked, pointing out the small cuts on Chi's left arm.

Chi looked to them, "Oh, these? They were to get a point across to Y/N."

Aizawa picked me up by the back of my hoodie and said sternly, "Was the point he was trying to get to you that you should stop hurting yourself?"
