When Friday rolled around, I was sort of dreading it. I knew that I would have to teleport everyone in the morning to school, then everyone and two more people once school was over for the day. The five of them met me in the hallway as I was walking towards their classrooms. Rikka, Otokari, and Tamori were walking side by side in the front, while Ryushi and Rini were walking in the back. Ryu was talking to Rin about something, but she wouldn't respond much, just nod her head. Once we were all close enough, I teleported all of us by the front door of the house where we took off our shoes. Rikka and the other two were the first ones to kick off their shoes and run off to mess around. Ryu and Rin already were asking for help with their English homework. I told them to go to the kitchen table and wait for me there while I went to get changed.

As I passed Rikka's room, I could hear them plain as day through the door that they were arguing who would get what controller since they were going to play a video game. I slid open the door and took a step in before I used a telekinesis quirk to put a controller in their hands, deciding for them who gets what. Before I left, I said, "Please try and be a little quieter, Chi and Reiji are working still."

"Yes, mom." Rikka said under her breath as she put the game into the console.

I then left them, closing the door behind me before I went to mine and Chi's room. I knocked on the door like usual before I entered. I dropped my bag and purse on the floor by the door as usual as I walked in, tossing my phone onto the bed again. I noticed that Chi wasn't at the computer or that it wasn't even on for that matter; he was rather reading a book which was for his work instead of his own enjoyment.

"You look worn out." Chi said as he placed a bookmark in his book before closing it.

I sighed, "I am." and went on as I walked to the closet, "I got barely any sleep last night." I began to remove the top of my hero costume as I heard him stand up from his chair.

"You should go to bed earlier tonight. I'll even join you," he said as I began to remove the pants of my costume. "I pulled an all nighter. It turns out that I completed my work for the next two days."

I pulled a pair of black skinny jeans on as I advised, "You shouldn't over work yourself. It will tire you out even more and you won't be able to work to your full ability." I finished as I began to look through my pile of hoodies, debating which one I wanted to wear.

He put his arms around my waist, pulling me close to him to the point that I wasn't able to move hoodies to find what I was looking for. My face turned red as I remembered that he would be able to feel my self harm scars on his arms that he had wrapped around me. He bent over a little so he could rest his head on my shoulder and look at my face. I could feel him begin to smile.

"There you go again, getting all embarrassed about your scars." he paused to kiss the side of my neck before he went on, "Little do you know that I love you and your scars; each and every one of them." I brought my hand up and put it on the side of his head, messing with his hair a little. "The only thing is that it makes me a little sad." he paused, "Each one is a time when you needed someone and I wasn't there to help. It makes me mad that I wasn't there to stop you. I understand that I wasn't with you for a great portion of your life that you did them, but the ones that appeared while we were together..." he paused again, "...I'm mad at myself for not helping you or loving you enough to stop."

I kept my hand on his hair as I said in a warm tone, "You got me to stop and keep it that way so far. It's hard from time to time to suppress the urges, but you help me keep it in check."

He let go of me a little, allowing me to snatch a hoodie off of the pile that I was looking through. "Do you think about it often?" he asked quietly as if he was a kid that was too afraid to ask.
